They had a very private Pilates studio where I felt at home. The instructors are the best I've experienced in years. I am looking into the Theraputic bodywork as well. If you do not the the gym or busy, loud studios this just may be a good fit for you as it is for me.

Fabulous place. Mike Pain is awesome - his sense of humor is a little dry so you gotta appreciate sarcasm to get him, but if you do he is funny. I love the boutique next door to the Burnet location, not sure if they are associated, similar names anyhow. Parking can be difficult, but you can park in the shoe store parking lot and walk around. All in all, I enjoyed my tattoo experiences there with Larry, Mike Pain, Josh, Evan, and most recently by David. I've also been pierced there too many times to mention. Recently heard that Larry is moving back to the area and will be tattooing by appointment. I'm planning to be on that list for sure.

Pete Gilcrease is phenomenal. I have a dozen friends (hey, Taco Deli!) who have excellent ink he's done, and at their recommendation I went to him for my biggest piece yet: a half sleeve that's currently in progress. I took him a complicated design idea that had stymied a couple of highly-rated artists here in town, and he nailed it like Kerri Strug with that broken ankle. His color work is unbelievable, he's about twenty TIMES as personable as any other artist I've met in town, and his shop is professional as they come.

This talented barber earned his chops cutting hair at the air force base before it became the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. He's usually booked and definitely doesn't need any publicity but I feel I should give him a shout out. I don't like going to any other barber. His customers like him a lot. He's good with all hair types.

It was OK
and nothing else.

It wasn't exceptionally good
infact, it was almost a bad expirence.

When we pulled up to the place it I thought I had gone to the wrong place.
It looked little green run down shak.
It was so tiny.
It was very crowded.
It was HOT
there was only ONE fan in the very small waiting room.

It was suckish inside too.
I waited over an hour to get my peircing and the people there wern't all that friendly anyway.

So it was finally my turn, and it took them all of about 2 minutes to peirce my nose.
So I was thinking that if there wern't that many people in front of me
and it didn't take that long for them to do either of my peircings
WHY DID IT TAKE THEM AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET TO US?

The guy who did my nose was ok
but he wasn't all that friendly.
Whatever

I feel bad for dragging my buddy there to get a peircing too

My budy called his friend to tell her he got his peircing and she asked where he got it done
he said "Platinum Ink"
and she just laughed and said that "Platinum Ink is the laughing stock of all Tatoo Places."

I guess she was right
