Gary Hopper of SUZUKI CARS OF McKINNEY Texas formerly owned a dealership HOPPER MOTORPLEX locates at 3210 Towerwood in Dallas Texas. He sold me a 2001 Audi TT on EBay and represented the car as being in great shape. He stated in the ad... "This car runs, drives and rides excellent, the transmission shifts perfectly and the clutch is strong. Bid with confidence its a very nice car at a very reasonable price".

The car was taken off the transport truck when it arrived in Indianapolis at the Audi dealership and the rear whined so loud the service agent was not able to speak and be understood even at speeds under 30 miles per hour! The car had been wrecked and was not disclosed, this "non-smoking" car had cigarette burns in the seat and had to be treated by a company for the smell. In all, this really nice car cost over $8000 to get it to the point it could be driven.

Throughout this ordeal Gary Hopper refused to make any restitution, as a matter of fact he was arrogant about the situation as he was in Texas and we were in Indiana. The case was taken to court and a judgement was rendered against Mr. Gary Hopper and his Hooper Motorplex. Dun and Bradstreet attempted to collect for the repairs and judgement and they could not get him to cooperate. My only recourse was to hire a Texas law firm and sue him. I have not taken that off the table. I notice he has moved his dealership TWICE since then and now sells used cars and Suzuki cars.

Bottom line, do not buy anything from this guy unless you can see, drive and have the car throughly checked. Definately do not buy anything from him over the Internet unless you are willing to get burned. Terrible business man with a proven record of not caring anything about the customer.

Awesome service. My Range Rover looked new again! Big Lue and his crew came to my office and did my co-workers cars also. We were so happy to go home for the weekend with a "new" car!

Stay far away from this inspection station if you own a nice car. The technician burned rubber and slammed on the brakes for the brake test. Threw it into reverse and slammed the accelerator coming close to hitting a concrete bollard at the side of the lot. Once the car was in the garage I noticed a key chain with about 15 keys hanging on his front belt loop. Very politely I requested that he remove the keys or at least clip them to the back of his pants to avoid scratching my car. He refused and so I went to another inspection shop where the techs care about customers cars and don't cop bad attitudes.

Their car washes are good, but the lady who answers the phone is rude. Just try and call and ask any question. She is difficult to understand, and rude about inquiries. She is just as rude in person. I believe she may be the owner's wife, but she has terrible a terrible customer service style. Were it not for the fact that they are close to my home, I would have been turned off by her immediately, but their prices are low compared to others in the area, if you can just get past the bulldog of a woman on your way in the door.

BEWARE!!!!!!!
I recently had my brake pads replaced by Oil Depot of Bruton, which I will never do again. Not only were the pads the wrong ones, but they were forced on which caused me to have additional brake pads put on, and my rotors replaced. I ofcourse did not take it back there to have the correct job done, but just wanted to put it out there to make sure you inspect your vehicle before leaving, to make sure everything is done correctly. I'm not even sure if the technicians there are even licensed. Please email me, if you have had bad business there. This place doesn't even deserve one star, but I could only submit this with a rating.

I am a single woman and my brakes were squeaking so I took my car into the closest shop to my work. I was told they would need to do an inspection on the car and it would be about 20 minutes, then I was told to come back in about 30 they should have it diagnosed by then. I came back thirty minutes later they had not finished the inspection yet and when they did it was not anywhere near the 99.95 special they advertise for brakes and pads. Remember my car was not making a grinding sound, barely starting to squeak and I was told that my bill would $454 freakin dollars. I almost crapped my pants........
They went on to explain that my rear brakes were leaking brake fluid bad, and that the pistons were completely stuck on both of them and because of this it was causing my front end to over-compensate thus wearing them down to the core as well. I told them I was definitely not paying that amount, so the man asked me what parts would I like him to work on today. I replied NONE!! I can smell bullshit a mile away and I was stepping in it deep over there. Needless to say, I took my brake leaking, piston sticking, waiting for an accident car to a REAL Mechanic shop and guess what LADIES, there wasn't a darn thing wrong with it except some brake dust and I have another 6 months to a year depending on traffic with these brakes. Don't let these lying cheating thieves take your money!!

Recently while on vacation in Arkansas my vehicle broke down (a nightmare). I had it towed to a Crain dealership in Little Rock and after running diagnostics and handing me a bill for $715 they gave me two options, have the engine replaced or purchase a new one. I guess they thought they had me!!! My SUV had 90K miles on, come on guys!!!! Instead I contacted Terry Trowell and we had it towed to Trowell & Turner Automotive in Dallas. Terry & his team played detective (and played it well) and discovered the real culprit was my battery and a crank sensor. My vehicle is operating better than ever !!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Trowell & Turner Automotive for your automotive repair needs. Way to go Terry & his team and thank you very much!!!
