FIND ANOTHER LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. They messed up my order and I personally saw no less than 5 additional customers come back because their orders were not filled properly. Having messed up the orders you would think that they would be courteous and resolve the problem......WRONG. Rude, disrespectful and totally unprofessional.

RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Since it was purchased by foreigners a couple years back it's not worth the visit. The manager is rude and actually has customers buy HIM drinks (???). It's mostly a swingers club now and not what it used to be back in the day.

You can't beat their pulled pork. When my daughter got the kids meal, the chicken nugget were shaped like dinosaurs and they were all white meat. She really liked it. We both ate too much of the free soft serve, but you have to splurge once in a while! Dickey's is a Dallas classic, and now I hear they went national.

The music fills the air and the wide open spaces of the store from the get go is inviting. There are a diverse culture of Hispanics, aka Mexican Americans, African Americans and a few Whites.
There is a great abundance of fresh produce and fresh fish meat, deli meats and plenty of everything. But I often wonder why they play so much one sided music. Most Fiestas I have been in recently play a variety of Tejano Music. But this particular store seems to play mostly or at least by and largely Soul, Rhythm and Blues and light Jazz. Not once had I heard any Tejano Music and I once asked a produce man a question, why is this the case?
He said the play the music that reflects most of the clientele but forgive me for saying this, there should be a ballance in the music no matter who is shopping there. We all love music but when you hear all of one steroptypical genre playing and not any of any others you feel like someone is being biased behind the choosing of the music. Let there be more variety to make everyone no matter what ethnicity there will always be a few songs that appeal to them. I prefer they play Pat Metheny or Smooth Jazz like the Oasis, but you know there's room for improvement and once a balance is truly achieved in the music department then people will all feel more comfortable not feeling that the store is showing favoritism to one culture or another. I prefer some Santana, I prefer some Elvis Presley, but mainly I really would like a few songs sang by Willie Nelson. Give me a variety and I will like your store 1000 times more than I do already.
lookat said it.

I like the easy access to carts and wide spaces between aisles. I like the cleanliness of the store, the easy access to any part of the store by going across the front or around the circumference from left to right in a clockwise direction.
There is always plenty to buy of fresh produce and most of the customers appear to have no problems picking out their choice selections of food items.

The only thing I wish there was would be a balance in the music genre.

There needs to be a variety of music not just one genre or another, giving off the impression of showing favoritism Besides if the store wants to keep a wide diversity of shoppers, not only do they need to play music that is of all cultures but try to make it easier for people like me to talk in English to anyone there.

It's very difficult and sometimes not a happy thing to be wanting to ask an associate something and they have to hunt down an a manager who by the way just happens to be able to speak in English as well as Hispanic.

So there. That's really all of it.

You know Dallas is the most diversified cities in the state of Texas and grocery
shopping need not be a place where there is confusion when one, you don't related to the music and two, you can't speak the language.

That's my 2 cents worth. Thanks for looking at it.

It's certainly not The Dairy Queen after all.

They moved and now have bigger space that includes lots of flavors of hand dipped BlueBell. Plus all kinds of food to go from Salads to Quiche & Casseroles. I like the tamales and Fried Turkeys.

I like Paul's Porterhouse because it is not your typical high-end steakhouse. Don't get me wrong, the steaks are quality cuts and taste wonderful. But the inside is not stuffy like some other places. It feels cozy, romantic, and at times casual, just like you are eating at home. The decor really impressed me. They have all kinds of one-of-a-kind artwork everywhere: paintings, deerhead, birds, statuettes, etc. It's sort of like eating in a museum. Prime cut beef and original art. I love it, and recommend this place to anyone in Dallas looking for a special dinner.

The atmosphere is nice but the food is marginally better than El Fenix and El Chico. The food is straight Tex Mex with no Mexican interior dishes offered. Great place to take yor grandparents or the unadventurous.
