My wife and I have been taking our Cars to Transmission Pros for the last 4 years, and have always had excellent service. The other reviewer must have caught Bill on a bad day, because he was always friendly with us. They even went to far as to show us exactly what was wrong on the car, and gave us an education so that we might better understand it. Bill no longer works there, but Todd (the owner) has always treated us fairly, and gives us a good price. In fact in that past year they replaced the manual transmission on our Ford ranger for half of what the FORD dealership was asking for. I will continue to take my vehicle to Todd even though I am outside of the Cleveland area. Finding a good mechanic shop is like striking gold, you don't want to loose it!

I just want to give a HUGE thanks to Donnie Schilling, owner of Cleveland Tire and Wheel, for selling my STOLEN BIKE on Craigslist. If it wasn't for Donnie and his excellent moral standards, the Cleveland police and I would have never found my bike at his reputable business. Thanks Donnie! You're a great contribution to society!

Fact: My bike was stolen from Cleveland Heights on March 19th, 2009

Fact: My bike was found again on Craigslist on August 13th, 2009, on sale for a great price of $250! When I called the number on the listing, I was directed to Donnie's assistant, who affirmed that Donnie had my bike for sale.

Fact: After the cops recovered my bike, they said that Donnie had received the bike from a (supposedly) ex-employee. Nice hiring-standards, Donnie.

Thanks Don! I can't wait to spread the word about your business!

daltons is a tip top shop they do very good paint i had the front of my car painted and it looked so good that i had 2 get the rest painted they also do very good window tint 4 cheap

Do not take your vehicle here! I brought my truck in because I needed my clutch replaced. I am a snow plow driver. When I picked it up, I noticed that my 4 wheel drive didn't work. I brought it back to them and they claimed that when I brought it to them, it was like that. When I argued that I was in 4 wheel drive (plowing snow) when my clutch blew, they basically told me I was lying and that they'd fix it but it wouldn't be free and it wouldn't be cheap. I took my truck to be repaired somewhere else and they said that when State Road fixed my clutch, they crushed and punctured a hole in my vacuum line. It cost me another $216 to repair this on top of the $860 to repair my clutch with State Road Transmission. Do not take your car here. If they break something, they will not fix it.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy...Not only was the service poor, but the people there had some of the worst attitudes I ever seen. I took my bike in for a charging problem and got nothing but a run-a-round from them. Almost 2 months and 500 dollars later the bike still was not fixed and I was told there was nothing else they could do for me. They actually had the nerve to ask me to come in to show them how to get the one part out of the bike. I thought that's why I took it to them. They're supposed to know what they're doing.They were very un-professional in handling the situation and did not take care of the problem to my satisfaction.

Had a car taken to them for repair. Promptly needed transmission work no doubt. Asked for worse case if everything was bad. Given a price of approx 1800. After they took the transmission out and had my car hostage, they come back with a quote WELL over $2000. Asked what happened to "worse case" quote. They said that was a estimate but this is what it is now. The manager Bill is very rude and seems dishonest. His only interest is satisfying the wallet and not the customer.
