There is absolutely no management control in this car wash. Those who are suppose to supervise just stand around and talk to each other. I have been there many times (I received a "pelican pak" of free washes for a gift) and it is always the same...awful. My car is not cleaned well on the inside. The console is never dusted. The windows are smeared. The outide is streaky.

No one cares if the car is really clean. The manager/owner used to be on site and things were much better. I haven't seen him in over a year. It shows. Go to Octopus if you want a good car wash. They don't charge extra to do the trunk and they make an attempt to wipe off the rims.

On 7/3/09, I pulled into the BP Amoco gas station on 735 E. Washington Ave to fill-up. The posted price on the main sign was for the basic (87) gas. I will sometimes purchase the 89, which I did on this day. Expecting a 10-15 cent higher price for the 89 option (not unlike every other gas station, including other BP Amoco stations) I was surprised to learn that I just paid $3.15 for the 89, or a 72 cent difference from the 87. I was told that the price was posted at the pump, and it was, so being a “buyer beware” believer, I accept the blame and I am not suggesting a financial reimbursement. I just think that people should be aware when businesses are not operating in a respectable manner. The practice may not be illegal, but it does not make it right. It is now the end of August, and every time I fill up I have checked the prices, and I have yet to find any other gas station where the price difference betweem 87 and 89 was more than 13 cents. The decision is up to you, but I certainly will never return to this station.

They won't take old Wonder Wash tokens (I was told I now had "shiny souvenirs") and they are way too expensive. Self serve wash is $5.00.

They are a bit pricey, but they do an excellent job - and we have been there at least 20 times with various cars.  They wipe it all down on the inside, vacuum everywhere (though we have to sometimes remind them we expect them to vacuum under children's car seats), wash car windows inside and out, and even try to dry around the doors enough at the end that they do not freeze shut in our bitter cold winters.  Even had them detail a car several years ago and they got tiny pieces of broken glass from smashed out window from all over the car. Would recommend them any time, especially at this Park Street location.

We are disappointed in their services, actually. They did an okay job on washing the outside of our mini van, but we paid extra for the inside floor mats ($1.50 each), and they just vacuumed them, which they allegedly would have done anyway. When my husband asked to talk to the manager about it, he essentially said that if we wanted them really cleaned we would have to pay extra (again) and leave them overnight. He told the manage he was very unhappy with what he had paid for already and wanted at least the extra money he paid returned, and the manager essentially said "too bad, so sad". We were floored. Never going back there again. Seriously: they were rude, expensive and unhelpful. Go out of your way if you have to, to go to Octopus instead.

Best Porsche Mechanic in WI. He knows everything about the pre- 2000 cars. I won't take my 1994 Turbo to anyone but him!

Campus Cars has a small selection of quality, high mileage, newer cars.  Because the cars are high mileage you can get a nice car at a much lower price.  I bought a Mazda6 here three years ago and have had no problems with it since.  The customer service was great and there was minimal haggling about what I would pay.  If you are concerned about retail value, want a newer car, but don't have a huge budget, then give Campus Cars a look.
