Obviously that is the CEO writing that comment... think twice about using American National Insurance, I wish I did.

American National is such a great company i have had other insurance companies, but none that offer so many discounts, and gives you great coverage.

My biggest gripe with college bookstores in general is the price of textbooks and supplies. While it is handy to have such things readily available to students without the need to drive off-campus and be late for class, charging double what Walgreens does on school supplies when Follett has similar buying power makes no sense to me. Also, if you can find the same textbook online and have the time to get it shipped before class, save yourself some money and skip Follett. If you don't, then at least know that Follett arranges with most colleges to accept Pell Grant vouchers and other financial aid without needing a ton of paperwork.

The Maricopa Community Colleges collectively provide a good education for the money. They have lower class sizes and half the cost per credit of the universities, and their classes are taught mostly by highly competent professors with a majority of those having a Masters or better in their field, or a ton of practical working experience, in the case of more vocationally-oriented courses. No TA's trying to bs their way through a lecture session that has 100 students in it. Most classes I have taken have had 10 to 30 students. I have been able to sit down and get extra help from the instructor when needed, something I doubt I'll receive at the freshman and sophomore levels of a university. A great value in this field. The only deficiency is a lack of junior and senior-level courses, but that's not so bad. To save money on the first two years of your college experience and get a better education for it is reward enough.

Jean-Paul Setlak is an extraordinary teacher! My language lessons were far beyond anything I ever could have expected. This man knows what he is doing. He has a lot of knowledge to share and does it with enthusiasm, humor and efficiency. In a few months, I progressed far beyond anything I had done before, and I had taken group classes for years. In addition, Mr. Setlak can offer coaching services, meditation classes, and several other methods of self-empowerment. This experience exceeded my expectations and was light-years ahead of ordinary language lessons.

I went to Camelback High School. Or as we fondly call it Camelcrack or the band students call it, Cameblack. It wasn't to bad of a place. It seems to be growing lately. But the only thing that hasn't changed there is that the football team, The Camelback Spartans, still can't win a game.
