My Astros were hardly entertaining this year. Thank god our pathetic season has come to an end. Next year doesnt look any better either-No consistant starting pitching, below average defense and the oldest team in MLB. Plus alot of our decent players contracts are up next year, and their is no chance of signing a big name player. For the last few season Astros owner Drayton McLain keeps telling his loyal fans "We are definately a contender this year". He is not fooling anybody. Not to mention before the 09 season started manager Cecil Cooper predicted the Astros to win 90 games, when in fact we came closer to losing 90 games and Cooper was fired before season's end. McClain needs to get that we are NOT contenders and haven't been since 2005, and that its time to dump the 40 year old players and rebuild! Even if it takes a few years. I will still follow my team and Minute Maid is an awesome park to go to, but it will be disappointing knowing your team has no chance when you have been used to winning.
