I found Ed Geesman's shop when I was needing a bow rehaired. I ended up also buying a most spectacular viola bow he'd made from a very old piece of Pernambuco.
I not only found his shop to be welcoming and beautiful; I found Ed to be the most hospitable, warm and knowledgeable professionals with whom I'd ever dealt.
One never gets a sense of stuffiness or haughtiness from him or his staff. And his work, service and instruments are first-rate. If I didn't already have a nice Schuback viola (and Ed worked in Paul Schuback's shop at one time), I'd love one of Ed's gorgeous instruments.
Visiting Geesman's shop is like sinking into your favorite old leather chair! Enjoy the experience.

I ordered over $300 of things in January. They did NOT fill my whole order but charged me for it anyway. I asked for a refund for items I didn't receive, and they do not respond to emails over and over again. BEWARE! They owe me over $30. I will probably never see it. I am reporting them to the BBB

In August I ordered a pair of ear rings that didn't specify how LARGE they were. (now they do) I had to make special arrangements to send them back for approval. It is October and I am still waiting for my $15 credit to reappear on my account.
The T shirts are made of very heavy quality material. But their customer service is a little too tight. ("only return items if they're sent in error by company")

Highly recommended! Allegro Violin went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my violin. I really felt that I was an important customer. They offer very competitive prices and a one year warranty on their violins. All in all it was a great transaction and I am very happy with my purchase!

I started going to Beaverton Optometric in 1982. Dr. Tabb and his staff were always pleasant and you knew that they all cared about the patients health, as well as, general well being. It was always a delight to go to an appointment and see the staff, especially Jeanie who was excellent at fitting new glasses and Dr. Tabb who was excellent in his field and development of orthokeratotomy. I always came away feeling sure that I had gotten the best care and attention and that my family had also. In 2006, Dr. Tabb sold his practice and everything changed. There is no longer a warm caring atmosphere when you walk in the door. The staff has all been fired either due to age or other random reasons. After 24 years, I will no longer go back. The warm caring office is no longer and I have no sense of security any longer with the medical care that I receive. As you can see from their website...there is only one staff member listed.
