I would say that this is my favorite Thai restaurant but that would be selling this place short.
They have amazing fish and seafood, and my father loves their Pepper Steak. It is my favorite restaurant for everything. The even have a penne pasta dish. They have things you can't find anywhere else like the Nam Pak ginger rice wraps that are one of the best things in the world. I love the new mango curry it is my favorite dish in the world. The owner is very outgoing and concerned about every detail of our meal. And what could be better than the Black Sticky Rice and Mango for dessert. Excellent and the best place I know. I will be at Bangkok Thai every time I can.

I grew up a half a block from B & N's. I have many fond memories of the times and area. I remember Roy rogers and trigger being there years and years ago. I will always hold those times in my heart!

i live just on the other side of trolley square across the street where a tiny little cafe used to be and is nothing more than an empty lot now. i had gone to bill and nadas since i was a kid. it was my stepfathers favorite place for breakfast which was the famous brains and eggs.though they seemed to be a favorite of many i never ventured there. a few things made this place special . you were made to feel at home like you were family. the other thing was bill. i will never forget when fred meyer bought out the block across the street from the cafe so they could build the 2 story super store that stands there today except for one thing one of those houses belonged to bill and no amount of money was worth selling his home with all his memories and he said you couldnt put a price on what he felt getting up in the morning looking across the street to his little cafe seeing pancakes being flipped on the griddle and good friends and customers at his place starting their day. so he stood his ground and fred meyers never for a moment doubted that they would get their way so they proceeded to buy up the rest of the property and they were wrong. they were left with no choice but to build the store around bills house and there it stood until he died. the house is gone the cafe is gone but the memories are not.

My grandmother partnered with Bill after Nada's passing. This is a place that a grew up in everyday. Downtown will never be the same. People who drive by that little corner will never feel the same. Bill and Nada's Cafe was a warm and welcome spot for everybody. You were always welcome. The mood and the crowd was always right and the people became your friends. It is now gone but the memory of this great place will never fade. Salt Lake will always be known for that little 24 hour diner on the corner. Bill and Max we will never forgett what you gave us and we never forgett you.

This was the absolute best place in Salt Lake before Bill died. Salt Lake is not the same.

Tiny portions, high prices, noisy, $12 bottled water. Who could ask for anything more?
