(Now located in Kearny Mesa)

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG THERE!
They released my dog immediately after eye removal surgery. My dog was not even completely awake from anesthesia yet.
Then, they would not allow me to see or talk to the vet, not after the surgery, not at post-surgery rechecks. Seeing the vet in person was a condition I however negotiated with them before I agreed to the surgery.
They are treating both the animal and the owner in an non humane manner, at times were your loved one needs care the most

Take your pets to Dr. Tony Basher. Not the eye clinic for animals!

This is about the grooming services....one word...HORRIBLE!
I took my 8 month Yorkie in for a "Trim" and got a cat in return. I spoke to the groomer prior to her appointment and specified what I wanted so I thought she should be ok, right? Wrong. When I saw my poor Yorkie, I thought wait a minute???!!!! Where is my dog? I don't know what the groomer was attempting to do but all I thought was did she mess up while trimming her hair & had to shave her instead? Even worse I actually paid $45 for this...I could have shaved her @ home. The groomer obviously did not know what she was doing. My poor puppy doesn't even look like a Yorkie anymore or even a dog for that matter...she looks like a cat or lion cub....worse of all, I don't like cats (sorry cat lovers). I think she needs more training & needs to learn how to groom yorkies. Hey groomer...have you ever heard of a puppy cut? Needless to say, I will never take my puppy here again. This place gets a one star b/c I can't give it a zero! I really, really regret bringing her here. :-( A million apologies to my puppy, Hershey. I can't wait for her hair to grow back.

I love this place! I take my little pooch at least 3 times a week for doggie daycare and get her groomed once a month there as well. Pat and Paula are soooo good with making her bath a happy one, she even gets a blueberry facial :) Yes, she's spoiled, but she deserves it. She absolutely loves playing with her friends in the daycare room, and I don't have to worry about taking her to the park after work. The staff is very attentive and always lets me know how she did (even if she had a hard time and misbehaved) It's rare and wonderful to have people be honest with me about my sweet girl I know she can be a handful at times. Yeah Golden Paw!

The San Diego Dept. of Animal Control has opened an investigation into the death of my daughter's dog while he was in their care. Louie was a 4 lb. Yorkie. He was left at the Golden Paw on 3/13. On 3/14 she received a coll telling her Louie was found dead in his room. When she went to claim his bady, they told her he was actually found in the puppy playroom with the LARGE DOGS! Someone had put Louie in the room with 3 small dogs, but neglected to take him out before they let the large dogs in. They advertise supervised doggy play, but can't explain why there was no one there when the other dogs were using Louie as a play toy! They advertise the web cam so you can see your dog at play. Yet no one saw Louie. They advertise a beautiful facility -- beautiful on the outside, but ugly on the inside. They refuse to talk to her, they offer no sympathy for her loss. and they give her no explanations to date. I flew 3,000 miles to be with my daughter because she has had nightmares regarding the manner of Louie's death. Save yourself this heartache. GO ELSWHERE!!! I am asking, if anyone has had their dog return from this facility sick or injured, please report this incident. Email it to Dawn.Danielson@sdcounty.ca.gov

I went to this Hospital the other day and i must say i left feeling pretty good. The Dr and the staff really took the time to let me know what was going on with my cat. The doctor gives quite a few recommendations to find out what the problem was, unfortunetly i couldnt afford to do all of them but the staff worked with me and tryed to do what was best for my pet, never once did i feel like a bad person for not doing any of those recommendations. Luckily it was some intestinal worm that was causing the problem and Snickers was treated right away. I will be going there again

I have always had a really hard time leaving my dog with someone I don't know, but as fate would have it I needed to attend a seminar for work.

While taking my dog to the dog park in Ocean Beach I over heard some people raving about this so called dog kennel in Bay Park. As I mumbled under my breath I would never leave my dog at some compound....

So I didnt have a choice, no one could help me with Oliver, I broke down at the last minute and gave the Golden Paw a call 2 days before I had to leave. Luckily Oliver had all his shots and they had availibility.
I had the red eye on Thursday and I worked all day had to pack and the best part is I got to spend time with Oliver and drop him off right before my red eye to New York.

The ladies were so great and very professional. I was blown away, Oliver stayed in a suite with a web-cam and TV. As nervous as I was I got to see him before I went to my seminars and even when I got into the Hotel.

The Golden Paw by far Oliver's new home away from home...

This is the worst vet that I have ever been to. In fact, the worst that I could imagine... The vet charged me for an exam that she didn't even start because she was afraid of getting scratched (my kitty hissed at her). Of course, she charged anyways, because she "tried". She gave my kitty medicine, which of course I couldn't use because she hadn't even had an exam yet... she used a needle that had fallen onto the floor to give a vaccination, and she was snappish, never answered any of my questions, told me my cat was a "basketcase" and no, not in a "oh look how cute way" but in a "I hate cats" sort of way. All in all, what I really feel about this vet I cannot type here because this review would probably need to be deleted. Take a look at the other reviews here as well. Please, for the sake of your cat, do not take your cat here. Better to be safe than sorry.
