My wife and I recently visited San Diego for my annual convention and decided we wanted to do something a bit different than the traditional hotel stay. We made a few calls and finally phoned Gaslamp Vacations and from the start it was a great experience. Matt is one of the owners and she went through all of the options and places and we found a 1 bedroom in the Gaslamp that was perfect. He was very patient and extremely nice and we really appreciated the level of personal attention we received.

The condo was very nicely decorated and extremely clean -- it felt like we were in a huge suite but for the price of a normal hotel room. The kitchen had granite tile and the bathroom had the spa jets that make you want to soak in the tub for hours! The convention was, well, like a convention -- at night though, we could pop out for dinner and a drink and be back in our quiet condo for a good night's sleep.

I was very impressed with the level of customer service and attention to detail that Gaslamp Vacations showed us and we will DEFINITELY use them next time we come to San Diego. Talk about a nice place to live!

Do not buy a condo from them. Crooks. See all the problems with construction at The Grande and Discovery. Look at how they screwed over most of the buyers at The Legend & Electra. Watch out new buyers...you have been warned.

Southland REALITY!

This company is ran by a guy named Lou... I rented from Lou(ser) for over a year at 3783 38th st... In that time, I learned what the term SLUMLORD really meant.
The apartment was uninhabitable due to an infestation of roaches, not just in the unit I rented, but within the ENTIRE complex. Loser refused to tent the building. Instead, we all just had to have our units individually sprayed, leaving the roaches to run back and forth between units. The roach problem has yet to be solved there.
I also had a problem with yellow jacket bees building their hive within my bathroom window sill. Upon reporting the issue to Lou, he told me that it was an act of God "not his problem" and that I could remove the hive myself using soap water and a fork. A FORK!!!! I thought he was CRAZY! It wasnt until several weeks of complaining that he had the hive removed... Only to throw the hive in the drive way next to my car.
21 days after moving, and I still have yet to see my $900 deposit!
