Stay away from this one. I tried this place for 3 days last week. Then I came by to eat and get directions to a local store. When I asked the owner for directions. Which I was very polite and nice. The owner went off on me and started to cuss and scream to the point that I had to leave. I was a good customer and was treated very nasty by the owner. The sons did not even come out and apoligize for what happened. We dont need businesses like this here. What happened to the old saying the customer comes first.

Very bad customer service. The employees at Hillcrest location are unhelpful and unfriendly especially some of the cashiers. Sometimes they do not greet customers or say thank you. What is worse is when they ask you if you need a bag. Of course, I need a bag to carry my stuff. Also, when I sent an email to their customer service department, they never responded to my email. They are unprofessional. Try to boycott Trader Joes.

I loved this place in downtown San Diego.

We got there with no reservation at 10pm. They put us on the wait list, so we waited for 45 minutes. The wait wasn't a problem because there is a bar were you can have drinks while waiting for the table.

Once on the table, the food was excellent. So good that once we were done and really filled, we reorder one of the rolls. Take a good note: The Crazy Monkey Roll is amazing, a must if you go there.

For the service, food quality and quantity we had I found the restaurant not expensive at all.

Tiny small coffee shop in the Mission Beach area in San Diego.

The idea is to have a coffee and do some shoppings. There are some comfortable couches in front of the clothes stands, so while pretending you (female) have a conversation, you are actually thinking about getting some of the cute summer dresses hanging in front of you.

I was hanging out there for a good time and I got so relaxed that I almost fell asleep.

The coffee was average but my friend had a Tea Smoothie that was very good.

Note: NO RESTROOM AVAILABLE

A bar by the beach that serves beer, burgers, kalamari, chicken wings, fries, etc and plays loud rock music. The mahi burger is good, and the margaritas are strong but taste like third world medicine. The vibe is casual and slightly white trash. There’s plenty of outdoors seating where you can soak up the sun.

Fatte's is a top notch pizza joint. Their pizzas are very reasonably priced and loaded with toppings. As the other reviewers have mentioned, EVERY pizza is 2 for 1 all day, every day - tough to beat that. My personal favorite is the Deluxe Hawaiian - exactly what it sounds like and mouthwateringly delicious. I think I got two of them (larges) for $19. The crust really seals the deal for me, its got the perfect texture and taste combo. The service is quick, if you order it for pickup they can have it ready in like 20 minutes. Pretty sweet. The dudes who run the place are really friendly too. Definitely check this place out, you'll be happy you did.

Nice wine bar/dinner in Ocean Beach. There are rows of wine stacked in the dining room. The food is reasonably priced for an upscale type of place. I had the mahi mahi which was very good.

Be sure to get breakfast here. I haven't seen bigger plates anywhere and the food is really good. There's a line, lots of locals line up for this place especially on a nice weekend, wait can be up to an hour on the weekends. If you order a flapjack it is the size of a medium pizza. They have some good flavors, the butterscotch almond was awesome.

I would not recommend the Mira Mesa I Hop to anyone. My family and I went to I hop tonight 05/05/09 a Tuesday night we were the only customers in the store the server was very short and rude 20 minutes passed by and she had not checked on us to see if we needed refills etc... I had to go back into the kitchen area 3 times to get refills for my family's drinks. When I paid my bill I told the server this was not the customer service I'm used to getting when I go to I hop and she said well I have paper work to do I came out an asked you if you needed anything when I gave you the bill. I explained to her that I had to go get the refills myself and if we were the only customers in the restaurant maybe she should have check on us more then once and she repeated I have paperwork to do in the back and walked away.

This IHOP was the WORST IHOP i have ever been to.
The food was raw and uncooked, the service was horrible they messed up my order three times. Then i had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes to get my food. When all that was over the server said he would give me the meal for free, then he changed it and said 50% off i complained and got it for free but it was definitley a waste of time. I do NOT reccomend the IHOP in Mira Mesa.
