I was looking to save a little money with these tough economic times. Unfortunately most major retailers had surf clothing that was just too expensive. Then, I stumbled upon this gold mine of savings. This shop had all the great brands that I was looking for, but at a fraction of the cost. The sales staff was very helpful and friendly. They had a good knowledge of wetsuits and boards that made it a much more relaxing experience. Usually you feel a little intimidated walking into a surf shop. The Closeout store made me feel just at home. Definitely stop by and check them out

It's the greatest place on earth, next to Disneyland, of course! It's a fun, happy and active environment that I just look forward to being here. I've never really done any martial arts before joining White Tiger Kung Fu and it has to be one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made in my life.

Like Corson said, there's much to learn from the techniques, exercise forms, herbal knowledge, and Chi Kung (power Yoga/meditations). I've always had a restless soul, bouncing from one thing to another every few months, if not days. I don't know if most people can relate, but one moment I'm totally pumped up about something...like billiards, wondering how anyone's life can possibly be complete without billiards, to dropping that in a heart beat and taking up archery for a day. =)

Anyhoo, Kung Fu is the first thing that has really captivated me and has also filled that void deep down inside...the yearning for that certain something that always knew there was more to life than the daily rat race.

This school is everything that I have been looking for! They have the fighting techniques, forms, herbal knowledge and ch'i k'ung! The instructors are really knowledgeable and really want to help the students grow. The best part is the staff and students are extremely friendly. This school has helped me become healthier and happier in my life.

Outstanding San Diego MMA School! Best fight training gym in San Diego! Teaches mixed martial arts including boxing, muay thai kickboxing, wrestling and jiu jitsu. Real professional fighters training out of The Arena as well. Not your average corporate gym. More for serious athletes.

I have taken and taught traditional martial arts for 30 years from many instructors, and Grandmaster Jeong is the best, whether you are a parent enrolling a child in whom you wish to instill character, or an adult seeking to learn self defense. Many martial arts instructors are like the guy in "Napolean Dynamite" - a joke. This guy is the best - both my kids learned from him and if / when I have grandkids they will too. This so called style of karate is so bogus. The instructors at these schools have about 6 months of training in a made up style. It is my opioin that this is not any where close to real martial arts. Beware ! Before you sign a contract that you will never participate in.

The owner of this shop needs to be more friendly. I have been there 3 times and have been treated rudely. For instance I was looking for a chainstay guard for my new bike and the owner did not have any in stock. His reply was to use electric tape like everyone else. I politely said thank you as he just walked away from me with no reply.

very friendly environment and great for begginers to learn at an accelerated pace. There are no real "begginers" classes/program so you are able to train with all ranks and learn quickly. Sensei has education background (has taught at university level in Japan) so he gives clear instructions while p[roviding detailed description of principles behind each techniques/movements. Also, one of the most competitive prices in town!!
