Appliance Smarts prices are fine, and you can get decent deals there. But their delivery is a nightmare. I requested a delivery, and was assured the product would be delivered to my new house as promised. My builder called me that night asking where the appliances were. When I called the store, it turned out my delivery never even got on the list. They promised to get the product there the next day. I told them it had to be by noon. No problem, I was assured. When I called the store again at 12:30, no one knew where my appliances were. When I called the delivery department, they didnt even show me on their list again. After dealing with 4 different people, receiving apologies and platitudes but no assurances, I finally found someone who told me my appliances would be delivered to my new house between 4-6pm, to a house with no one there. I had to really scramble to find someone who could be there to let them in until I could get there. Once there, I had to fight to get the delivery men to put the appliances where they needed to go to be installed. I have rarely seen such poor customer service, particularly from a chain that touts themselves as customer friendly. They lost at least two other purchases we need to make in the short term, and have lost a customer permanently.
