My daughter just got engaged and since I was visiting from Hawaii we decided to look for a wedding dress. We had heard of Mary Me Bridal in Orange and decided to go..............we called ahead to explain why we needed to come in since we did not have an appointment. We were told not to worry and come on in. When we got there the lady at the desk did not acknowledge our presence. Her employee told her she thought we were ready to look.............she ignored us and snarked at her employee about wanting to leave early because of illness. Then she asked what type of dress my daughter was looking for........she told her a few things then said we didn't really know as she hadn't tried on any dresses yet. Then the lady asked how much my daughter intended to spend..........when my daughter said @$400 or $500 the woman acted disgusted and said she couldn't do anything for much under $1,000. She then took us to another building and offhandedly pointed to a row of dresses and said you can look at these but you would have to buy them "as is"..........................then told my daughter she would do better going to David's Bridal for a $99 dress. My daughter left in tears......................not a good way to start off what should have been an exciting time looking for a wedding dress. I would never do business with this woman..........she is rude to her employees and even ruder to the customer. There was no reason for this type of behavior................civility goes a long way in business. I would shop at David's Bridal..............they have lovely dresses for $300 - $700 and their salespeople and fitters make you feel as if they care what you feel like and look like. Another good place is My Wedding Day in Fountain Valley.
