If you like paying $300 for teeth cleaning for your dog, go visit this vet! He's afraid of large dogs. He charged me over $100 to sedate my dog because he couldn't draw blood even when my dog was muzzled. He told me that my dog would turn on me and bite me. Dogs sense when you're deathly afraid and they will take advantage of it and my dog took advantage of the vet. Kind of funny. But this is the same dog who is good with babies and toddlers and cats! Bite me, I don't think so. This vet refused to write me a prescription for a chronic condition that I was going to fill at Petsmed or other online vet pharmacy unless I paid him $14 for the prescription because he won't make any money off of me. At first he refused altogether, citing insurance reason but this is total baloney because my cat vet writes me prescriptions for prednisone that I fill online. He said that he went to school to become a vet so he needs to charge me. His English is very bad, being a native Korean, so it was difficult trying to understand why he was getting so angry with me. He couldn't understand why I, as a consumer, would rather pay $18 to fill a prescription online instead of $50 at his office! In the end, he got very angry with me and told me not to come back! Now this is great customer service! The vet up the street at Affordable Animal Hospital is much more reasonable and is willing to negotiate. He will try to match the price I get online and so I will buy the drugs directly from him. And I can understand him and he won't go off the deep end with me. Don't go to Anchor Animal Hospital unless you enjoy spending a lot of money.
