I agree with all the postings on this site. Crappy management, not even an ounce of decent customer service. Christine is the worst manager ever. I think is bipolar or she has some serious issues. Gaylee tries; and God/Allah/Buddha or whomever you believe in knows that she does try to make up for Christine's bitchself. She is truly a gem for the tenants at Chateau. She may not get much done for you but she will try and she does have a good sense of humor.

Their maintenance crew is the most incompetent. It takes forever to get something replaced and you have to cough up a six-pack for the pot-bellied foreman.

I have been living for 6 months and I cannot get my dishwasher replaced and amongst other things. Air conditioning units are as old as the hills. I think it would be easier to get a grant from the Federal Government that getting stuff replaced around the apartment. Even better yet,

There is nothing to like about this place. Do not attempt to use the pool if you have any skin condition. You will break-out and look like something straight out of a horror movies. Stories about how sick some tenants from swimming in the pool. The gym is not even a gym. Really, they have a machine which predates the 1950's. Rusted and totally unsafe. They even have the nerve to have a posting that recommends you see a doctor before using that equipment.

Lastly, Do not move here. I repeat do not move here. It is a hell hole, a little slum in the middle of Brookhurst St. You will be sorry and you will hate yourself. It looks cheap and believe me when I tell you it is cheap in every sense of the word. Thank goodness the property is not located anywhere near Beach Blvd because it could easily be mistaken for a motel.

The current rental market in Anaheim is favorable and I am going to high-tail it out of here when my lease is up.

I lived here from 2003 to 2007 and this place is a shit whole. I agree with everyone who wrote negative comments before me. Christine seems to be bitchy at all times. And as far pets, Gayline has dogs in her place. I guess policy rules only apply to the tenants. The neighboring apartments are infested with crime. One morning all the cars on the street had there tires slashed. The streets are covered in gang tagging. Another morning every car had maxi pads on door windows.(not funny when its your car) And every freaken Saturday some idiot is having a loud party with spanish music that has the same rythim until 3am. Or if no party going on, then you get your Christian radicals with a megaphone preaching about God. On Halloween it was a nightmare. Our first Halloween we gave out candy, and what a mistake. About 10 thousand kids were banging at our doors. Following Halloweens we would hide from our own home turning off all lights and ignore knock on door. And yes I lived on Chateau de Ville side where it faces the street to the slums in the area.

I had a bad exerience here there security gate closed on the side of my vehicle, the manager took a report and sent it to satellite management company, then they asked for three an estimates to repair my truck, two months later they finally tell me that they wont pay for it. Everyone there including the apt manager knew that they had problems with there gates. Also my neighbors vehicle was broke in into and several other people as well. The managers are very nice, but satellite management stinks!!

The company often writes up different folks for minor violations of CC&Rs. Their inspectors target homes unequally, placing individual homeowners in a very compromising position. Why don't they inspect ALL homes equally? It seems their cars only target specific homes, at the oddest times; I have seen their noisy cars (really loud, like a V8 engine) parked in front at 9:30 pm, when its really dark out! I followed one car by foot; it came into our association to target one home, and promptly left! They don't even TRY to be subtle at such hours!

We aren't safer than if we were without a property management company. Under their watch, we still have had murders, break-ins, and other crimes.
With respect to providing services, our gates have often waited weeks prior to being fixed, forcing us to live with open or stuck gates--not pleasurable, nor very safe, as our community makes a great racing track at 2 AM!
Curbs are very rarely (emphasis on "rarely") cleaned, though it was supposed to be at least twice a month. At max, they come once every six to eight months at best! Trust me, I clean my own curb, so I should know!
For over $60 a month, I really don't know how they have been useful!

I have lived here since Sept 2002, and I'm moving out end of this month, thank God! I work for a bank so I ran a property search on this pit, this place is owned by the "Chateau De Ville Apartment Fund LTD" 11340 W. Olympic Blvd Unit #220 Los Angeles, CA 90064-1612, and the last sales date recorded was December 28, 1983! Same slumlord owns it dude according to the county clerks office! They have a total mortgage of $2,100,000 (Equity loan that they took on May 27, 1988) this is the last recorded transaction, the property has a value of $5,532,069! And takes in approximately $243,840 per month in rental income or $2,926,080 in rental cash per year!

In other words, these greedy and unprofessional owners have easily had the cash to turn this place into the Ritz, and have just chose not to waste their money on the tenants since 2002 at least that I know of!

As for the washers and dryers being replaced, its about time, the old ones were in a word, "nasty."

The management is unprofessional in the extreme, well at least the head rental manager Christine, the assistant manager Gaylee is an Angel. But from what I've seen there is no tight ship being run here, an unprofessional rental manager who arbitrarily persecutes tenants if she does not care for their race, gender, accent, or sexual preferance is not what I call running a tight ship, in 2007 I will simply refer to it as an unprofessional in the extreme. She should really be told if she truly hates her job this much, do us and herself a favor, AND QUIT!

As for all the noisy kids that run around here night and day, skate boarding, throwing rocks, and even copulating in on stair ways, well realistically those sort never seem to be the ones to get thrown out of here! See above. The quite ones that the rental manager does not care for seem to get thrown out, for reasons unknown ofcourse.

I've been too busy working to think about moving until now, but truthfully I will be happy to put this Chataeu De Ville nightmare behind me, never, and I do mean NEVER again!

I have lived here unfortunately since 2001 in a 2 bed room apartment with no amenities for about $1,200 per month. Now I'm leaving, but not by choice. I finally got tired of having 3 day notices to pay or quit put on my door for 6 years in row now, for supposedly not paying rent???

This is how they work here...Every year when it comes time for a rent increase, they do not tell you your rent has been increased...Too much effort. What they do is intimidate you by taping a 3 day notice to pay or quit on your door. Of course, at first you have no idea why, until you call in and speak with the rude shrew Christine who runs the rental office. She will inform you that they just cant tolerate you being behind on your rent, and that you have supposedly shorted your rent for months! She can be quite convincing! So of course you cut another check to cover the $65 rent increase (which they never bothered to notify you of in the first place with mind you!!!).

Well, I finally got sick of this treatment, after 6 years, 6 ordeals such as this, it finally dawned on me, "these people just don't notify tenants of rent increases!" They just intimidate people into accepting the new rent amount, or move out in 3 days! How unethical!!

Well, this time I finally complained to her majesty, Christine, the rental queen. I told her I knew how they conducted business and that it was unethical and perhaps illegal! But I paid the new rent amount anyhow, as always.

Two days ago I got my new 3 day notice taped to my door, for supposedly having guests over at all hours of the night....Which unfortunately I don't! Then this notice was followed by a 30 day notice to quit! Guess Christine did'nt like me pointing out that raising peoples rent for 6 years in a row with no notice was ILLEGAL!!!! So now I get to be motivated to do what I've just put off doing anyhow, move the heck outta here....NO PROBLEM....ALL YOURS!

Area is well landscaped and always clean.

No Comitment to client, No follow through with construction, Can't contact after paid, charges more than originally agreeded upon, uses bad engineers, plans do not have enough detail, need multiple redos to get approved.
