My wife and I were looking at purchasing a new TV this past June. We noticed a new promotion from Queen City about "$300 in Gas and $300 in Groceries" and decided to check it out. The sales person promised that it was not a scam and that the $600 ($300 for gas and $300 for groceries) would be given out in Visa gift cards. After we purchased our TV we found out that there was a little more to it, we were required to submit receipts each month and then a third party would mail out the gift cards in $25 dollar increments. This would take approximately 12 months to see the full $600 dollars. Well we decided to keep the TV and proceed with the promotion. After approximately 6 weeks we were notified that the third party had gone out of business and that we would need to begin the entire process again with this new company. Well, it has been almost 6 months since we purchased the TV and we have not seen a dime from the "Promotion". We have repeatedly called and talk to everyone from the corporate office and they have all basically told us to "be patient...it's in the mail" and that "we could not be able to return the TV". Even thought they have yet to satisfy their end of the agreement. Not only will Queen City never see another cent from me, I will make sure that everyone I talk to knows how badly they treat their customers.

Of course I am biased, but I think the entire team at Eye Dialogue is beyond the par for Charlotte. Everything cool in charlottes lighting and sound market seems to be somehow connected to this team. From birthday parties at home to Nightclubs to massive outdoor revivals

Customer service is absolute top priority with these guys. I was very impressed with the quality of service from the office recipient (Lydia) and the knowledge the tech (Mike) had about my specific repair / upgrade. Price for my repair was comparable to other companies around the city but I choose these guys based on all the great recommendations and don't regret the decision. I'm not sure how jmelvin had a bad experience with these guys as they have the best customer service of any of the companies I've dealt with around Charlotte.

no stars....These people are crooks.  They damaged my dining room table when packing it into the delivery truck and tried to hide the damage when they delivered it.  I refused the order and it took them 6 months to decide whether or not to fix the table or order a new one.  They decided to order a new one.  In the meantime, they billed me $2,600 in erroneous finance charges.  I had to file a complaint with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currrency before Boyles would agree to reverese the erroneuos charges from my account.  Boyles' customer service is useless...a bunch of crabby bitches who sound and act like they grew up in a backwoods swamp.

I called them this morning regarding our refrigerator which was leaking at the bottom. The phone was answered promptly and courteously. I explained the problem and told them the make and model as requested. They told me that a technician would call me back for further information and as to when he could be out to the house. A technician did cal and again I explained the problem as well as the make & model. He explained he would try his best to be here around 2pm and he was prompt. However..... he looked at the fridge and told my wife that he could not repair this fridge (GE Profile) because the "lines are very close together" and would leak again so they would not warranty it and therefore not work on it. Recommended that we call factory service. Then he did us a VERY big favor and told my wife that he would only charge $69 rather the $89 he would have charged if he had had to fix it. My wife paid because she was alone at home and did not wish to get into a confrontation. I called the company after I got home to ask why they could not have told me that it could be a number of things like a bad valve and also that there was a possibility that the line was bad & in that case they would not be able to fix it. I could have then have made the decision as to whether or not to have them come out. The man on the phone kept talking over me advising me to keep everything documented when GE came out because he guaranteed me GE would patch the line & it would leak again. Also to put my insurance company on notice. When I finally got a chance to talk & I told him I felt scammed, he suddenly had a long distance call to answer. I suppose it's easier to make $69 in 5 minutes without doing any work than charge $89 for actually having to do some work. They advertise that they work on all makes and models, so they should have been able to work on ours. Be warned, you may needlessly spend $69.

the repair guy had NO idea what he was doing. Plus they wanted to charge me a labor charge for coming out on top of the service call charge. Of course they never mentioned the labor charge when I called to schedule the appointment, even after I asked what the charge would be to come out.

The customer service here is non existent. I called on the recommendation of the Frigidaire 800 number for service on a dishwasher still under warranty. The receptionist asked if I had my receipt, I said no. I gave her the case number filed with Frigidaire, she told me she "didn't have time" to call on repairs that don't have the receipt and again told me three more times I needed a receipt. I asked her if she would like me to print one. She said I should get service elsewhere, avoid these folks like the plague. If their dispatcher can't provide customer service, imagine what the tech's provide

We recently had Kolby Construction come out to upfit our old garage/carport in order to use it as a home office/studio. The result was truly amazing. They helped us find ways to make the space more usable like raising the ceiling and adding supports, They were also much more knowledgeable about structural issues from the garage's old age than previous contractors were that we had talked to. We felt confident that we would have a great finished project that would stand the test of time and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The process was easy and without delays or issues. I highly recommend Kolby Construction to anyone looking for licensed general contractors for any of their home improvements.

Do NOT hire Carolina Clean of Charlotte, Inc. to clean your carpets. They didn't clean our carpets, their machines broke and their employees left before finishing the job. When I called for a refund they were rude on the phone and they refused.  This company fraudulently misrepresents that it is a member of the Better Business Bureau, it employs people who are unprofessional and incompetent, it utilizes inadequate equipment and I would not recommend dealing with them.
