I have had nothing but great experiences here. I've been going there for two years since Atrium was virtually an in and out type vet. Dr. Wood takes the time to explain what is going on, how things are going to be and what we need to do. I have two geriatric age dogs and one puppy. I'd recommend this Vet any day, anytime.

Have been a regular customer for 4 years. Great service, installation of a bird house or feeder $10 even if you bought it elsewhere. They even repaired a house I bought from someone else that was 10 + years old. They upfitted my existing bird houses with copper guards. Kind hearted folks who are really interested in the welfare of birds and sharing the fun of bird watching. I have had several bluebird families with babies at the house they installed for 3 years until they installed bluebird houses at each of my neighbor's homes. Now my neighbors have the families nesting and I feed them and that's okay. The products I have bought there have been worth the money and have held up fine. The food is great and seems to be fairly priced with PetSmart and the local hardware chains. They have a frequent buyer program where you accumulate points and end up with free product. Also they are the only place I know that routinely carry LIVE mealworms to feed the bluebirds. Great store and the only one we have like it for miles around.

My experiences at PGAH have been inconceivably awful. Not only are their prices considerably higher than the market average, but service is non existent. The majority of the employees portray a sense of entitlement and are quite unhelpful. When leaving the exam room after my first puppy visit, I was presented with a bill that was more than three times the quoted price of $60. My issue wasnt so much with the cost, but with the fact that I never once was given any indication that any extra services were being preformed. There is one amazing vet in the office (Harris), but without a good support team in place, its useless. The true test came when I woke up on Christmas Eve to a sick puppy. I called to find the practice open, but was told they were too busy and that Id just have to go to the emergency vet. While this is somewhat understandable given the circumstances, it was the turning point for me after so many other service let-downs. I asked for our records to be at the desk for pick-up as we would not be returning to the office. Fortunately, another local vet welcomed us in and FOUR minutes later, we were leaving with the needed antibiotics. Several days later, I receive a letter in the mail from a front desk worker, Jessica, saying that THEY had decided to discontinue services to me and my pet. Im assuming the letter I received was a form letter since it cited reasons that were completely unrelated to any of my experiences. Cost is not the key factor in veterinary service, but if youre going to command a premium, you had better be able to back it up with exceptional service. PGAH fails to meet any basic expectations of service stay clear!

What a traumatic first time experience for both my puppy and me. I will never go back to this vet hospital!!! The vet tech was completely insensitive, and there was no communication about what they were doing with my puppy when they took her out of my sight into the back, supposedly to just weigh her, and then I go back to see what is taking so long and I find two vet techs holding down my scared 2 lb puppy to take her temperature as if she is some killer rottweiler! It was really overdone for a tiny puppy who is only 12 weeks old!!! She was unduly and justifiably scared for no good reason!!! I had wanted her to have a good first time vet experience. On top of that the fecal cost $28.00+!! It was a very stressful experience and one that I will not repeat. I do not recommend them.

Avoid... Unclear return policy and inflexible. Knowledgable owners, but they are primarily interested in sales, profit -- not customer satisfaction.

I have done business with these folks for over seven years now and they have never dissapointed me. They are the kiind of place we need more of as they truly know what great customer service means. Try them out you will not be dissappointed.
