As previously, though less than eloquently stated by other tenants, Lobos response to each and every scenario is simply lies, smoke and mirrors. My daughter's apartment on 5th avenue in Shadyside has toxic mold growing in the bathrooms. There have been nearly a half dozen calls placed to try to remedy the situation from this well-known and documented health hazard. The calls have all been quite reassuring. We'll have someone out there tonight, in the morning, whatever the case may be. However, no one ever shows up.
When they magically lost my daughter's lease for the following year, they began showing the apartment. When they showed the prospective new tenant the bathroom, they assured the individual that they mold problem would be remedied before they moved in. My daughter's roommate exclaimed, "Well, we have been calling for MONTHS about it! Why havent they fixed it for us?" The nice woman (All the individuals showing the apartments are as sweet as the day is long exclaimed, "Honey, I ASSURE you that will be fixed this evening!" Well. That was over a month ago.
We are now considering legal action. This is a known health risk and Lobos is absolutely unconcerned.
There is zero justification for anyone who, after having read these reviews, rents a Lobos apartment.
Additionally, there have been long periods with no hot water (upwards of a week) for the entire apartment building and literally DOZENS of other complaints that have been annoyances, but this one is a health risk.
You have been warned. Period.
