Notoriously known for being assholes, these guys have the chairside manner of badgers. I've gotten two tattoos from them. The first one should have been my first indication as they overworked some areas and left scarring. The second one had sloppy line work. They have been known to turn people away if they don't like their design, but in living up to their reputation of the McDonalds of Kansas City Tattooing, they will do anything you pick off a wall. If you have a more abstract idea in mind, something maybe even artistic, take yourself to Mercy Seat. Freaks is basically a purveyor of clip art. They don't like to attach their names to anything that might be considered challenging to understand, but if you want a shark jumping through a ring of fire, they're right around the corner of Westport and Broadway.
