I work for Sitel in Memphis, Tn for 3 months.. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE, to work there either. First let me start by saying, I was in training for 4wks.. Everything I was learning, we were not going to use when we actually start taking calls.. So I asked my coach, why are we learning something that we're not going to even use & he said it's always good to learn the back ways.. HUH... So after being trained for 4 weeks, I was only trained on the phones for 1 day, then I was on my own.. So when I had questions I had to ask my new coach, she didn't know anything because she was asking her employees to help her out.. WHERE THEY DO DAT @!! I've heard a lot of complaints about Sitel, but I didn't think it was this unorganized.. It's very unprofessional.. The coaches don't know anything.. They talk to you like your a child & the women in there dress like they're on there way to club Senses.. I guess it's true what they say, white people can run a business much better than us.. But most of all I hate when you come to work & they send you home everyday due to the fact the calls are slow.. WHO DOES THAT?!!.. You can not make a career out of Sitel.. Sitel is a GHETTO, unorganized club!! I strongly suggest if you decide to work for Sitel, be prepared to teach yourself because you want learn your ABC'S @ that place.. They don't do background checks, so you could be sitting beside a murderer!!.. The president should consider closing sitel until he/she get some professional coaches, managers, supervisors, & most of all professional employees in that place!!
