I work for Sitel in Memphis, Tn for 3 months.. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE, to work there either. First let me start by saying, I was in training for 4wks.. Everything I was learning, we were not going to use when we actually start taking calls.. So I asked my coach, why are we learning something that we're not going to even use & he said it's always good to learn the back ways.. HUH... So after being trained for 4 weeks, I was only trained on the phones for 1 day, then I was on my own.. So when I had questions I had to ask my new coach, she didn't know anything because she was asking her employees to help her out.. WHERE THEY DO DAT @!! I've heard a lot of complaints about Sitel, but I didn't think it was this unorganized.. It's very unprofessional.. The coaches don't know anything.. They talk to you like your a child & the women in there dress like they're on there way to club Senses.. I guess it's true what they say, white people can run a business much better than us.. But most of all I hate when you come to work & they send you home everyday due to the fact the calls are slow.. WHO DOES THAT?!!.. You can not make a career out of Sitel.. Sitel is a GHETTO, unorganized club!! I strongly suggest if you decide to work for Sitel, be prepared to teach yourself because you want learn your ABC'S @ that place.. They don't do background checks, so you could be sitting beside a murderer!!.. The president should consider closing sitel until he/she get some professional coaches, managers, supervisors, & most of all professional employees in that place!!

Sitel is a very unprofessional establishment. I do not recommend anyone working here for any period of time. If you need the money and can get the job, then by all means, work there. ONLY until you find something else though. I used to work there and it was horrible. They are a third party company who hires people to provide customer service for their clients. If they lose the contract u lose your job. Their turnover rate is extremely high. They half train the employees and not even the supervisors know the answers to the questions you need to service customers. The people who work there are "ghetto fabulous". Seriously. Horrible place to work

Better than Office Depot, although you may find less of a selection depending on which one you go to.

Was sent the wrong size slingshot ammo. I was sent 1/8 crossman slingshot ammo instead of the 1/4 ammo that I ordered. This 1/8 ammo was contained in a broken crossman 1/4 inch ammo container, that was placed in a plastic bag to keep the ammo from spilling.

I asked if I would be reimbursed for postage to send this two dollar and fifty cent ammo back and I got no response. Apparently this company does not want to pay postage for items to be returned even when its their fault that a wrong or defective item was sent. Here is their return policy:

Dissatisfaction:
Defensedevices.com wants you to be satisfied with every purchase and we will make every effort to resolve any problems. All products carry the manufacturer's full warranty. Should you be dissatisfied with your product for any reason, you may return it within 72 hours from the date received for a refund less shipping charge if it is in new condition and in its original package. Beyond 72 hours you may return the product for exchange with another product less shipping charges.
We cannot refund shipping charges.
No Returns without an RA number. Call or email before you send any item back. Items without an RA number will be refused.

Sounds like the item has to be in original packaging too. So how do I return a package they broke open and sent to me with the wrong item inside? I think they pawned this junk off on me,knowing I could not return it. Why would you put a broken open package of slingshot ammo in a plastic bag and then send it to a customer? Why not just say the item is out of stock or have the decency to get an unopened item? I should be reimbursed the 2.50 for the ammo just for my trouble, but instead they insisted that I pay the postage on this item. It was their fault. They placed this item in my package. I had to pay them postage and handling to send the ammo and two other items (the quality of which I now rightly doubt),but they will not pay the postage on a defective and wrong item? They send me a broken package and then say broken packages cannot be returned. They know who packed this and that person should be fired.

Now Im not even sure if I was sent slingshot ammo. This 1/8 size shot is not much larger than a BB.

they were the worse service ever!! I had two guys on my jobsite drinking alcohol during working hours. I let them go and they replaced them in a resonable time, but I overheard one of them on thier phone during work hours about where they could "score some rock". I then kicked them off my site where they kicked a dent in the side of one of my subcontractors vehicles and knocked over a port a john.

I must admit when it comes to computers I know just enough to make it worse. When I called to schedule an appointment Mike was extremely polite and did not make me feel like an idiot, haha. He called ahead and showed up on time. He repaired my computer and secured my wireless network. I will definately call him the next time I need help!

Thanks much PC Guy.

It's a joke. It's is run by hoodrats, hoochies, and kids. I'm surprised it's still standing.
