I do not recommend Cumberland Heights. As a middle aged woman, I was not truly accepted, nor, I feel, even cared about. I was dismissed. I tried to be interactive in the sessions, but, as stated before, I was dismissed. This place seems to impart the feeling that only the young are "worth saving". This place is definitely not a place of healing. Also, the general staff is very unprofessional, and, at times, rude. Go elsewere.

We went to MFG on March 10th, 2009 to find the sex of our baby and we arrived at 2:35 to get all the necessary paperwork out of the way. We were not seen until 3:40! We waited over an hour and no one even said anything about us waiting so long until I asked how much longer it was going to be. My husband had a 4:00 physical therapy appointment at Centennial Hospital, literally across the street, but had to call and cancel, which then cost us the full price of the appointment, since insurance obviously won't pay for the cancellation. I asked the ultrasonographer was african american, (i can't remember her name), questions about what we were seeing and she was obviously annoyed. She didn't respond several times and she then told me to "wait until I am done getting all measurements" I've never had an ultrasound before as this our first baby and this was supposed to be a happy moment. However, due to her rudeness, it was not. I mentioned if she could do a 3D ultrasound and she said they have the capabilities but they cannot do the ultrasound at only 19 weeks. This was a blatant lie because my friend who is pregnant and 3 weeks behind me had an ultrasound at 15 weeks of her baby! I was so irritated that she lied straight to my face. I'm sure she was rushing through because it was late and wanted to get home. When she was done she left the room, did not say what was happening and a new ultrasound tech came in. The new tech (who had short blond hair and was in her 50s I would say) was much much more pleasant and printed photos 4 photos for me. She then handed me the cd the first tech made...only to discover it was blank when I got home!

Dr. Wang would definitely be your best choice. He is very professional and I felt very secure having my Lasik done there. He has very nice and has understanding customer service.

Dr. Wang is a world industry leader in Lasik and he was the first in Tennessee to provide Blade-less Lasik

I heard that he has performed more than 3,000 procedures on fellow physicians.

If other doctors can trust him with their eyes, then he must be good!

Dr. Wendy is the BEST dentist that I have ever been to! I have been going to her for about 10-12 years, and I do not regret any of them. Her office is small and full of very friendly people. You never have to wait as long as you are there on time for you appointment. Although her office is not open on Fridays, if you have a problem and need to see her she will make a special trip to the office. I have and will continue to reccomend her to all of my friends, as well as any strangers I meet!

I would not refer my worst enemy to this place.
They are unorganized and uncooperative.
They quoted me a price for the exam ($65)and when I called back they had doubled the amount I owed ($125).
They harassed me about paying while my insurance was resubmitting my claim after I had already explained the insurance process.
Each time I called it was as if I was a new customer. Do not expect for anyone at the office to treat you like they care about you.

As a person who actually works in a REAL office, just the attorney and I, I can actually say that I know what it is like, and I empathize with ANY business that deals directly with the public that expects perfection in others, but is unable to realize it in themselves.

Dr. Pogue and staff are just that - human. And some of the best people I've ever been around - always the same - always concerned and caring.

When my mom died, I was sent to Dr. Pogue by the agency that handled the home care she received - he directed their agency (or something to that effect). My world had crashed. I find it hard to believe that any other doctor would have cared as much.

When an office deals with SO many people in one day, they CAN NOT please all of the people all of the time. They are REAL people. They do not act like they are "above" anyone...they, especially Dr. Pogue, is gifted - you are in good hands.

As for the possible wait - all places have a wait - lawyers, doctors, hospitals, restaurants...generally, if there is a wait it's a pretty good place to be. If you are always looking for places to go with no wait, there is generally a reason why no one is waiting....know what I mean?

Would any of you WANT a doctor that said to you - your time is up regardless of your many problems - I have people waiting and you need to go now? Come on...Dr. Pogue spends as much time with each patient as he NEEDS to...you want to be treated well... don't expect him to short others just because you are waiting...ALL doctors are overbooked...how do you think they work people in????? Get Real!!!!! Everyone's circumstances vary, hence the possible wait for a good doctor.

For excellent care and caring - go see Dr. Pogue...he's worth any wait you may have to endure and by the way...I never wait long...
