When this pediatrician first opened her office on Ulloa Street, we were among her first clientele. Her very nice mother was her receptionist, then she got a young, common ignorant boor to work for her, along with a crude St. Bernard project assistant. Why am I so harsh? The first of this pair made a rude comment about my child's "long name" in the doctor's office to which no redress was made, although the MD went gaga over the nearby Palestinian patients that came there. We are a neat, courteous, highly educated family, and the naming was standard in Islamic societies like the Horn of Africa where it originated. Oh well, she is Creole, so many of them disdain those who identify as black. This MD was also bigoted in that in all the time we patronised her, she only seemed to be interested in meeting us at Children's Hospital, not due to my child's injury at school, but to schmooze with the senior pediatricians there, doing no more than represcribing the same pain-killer repeatedly. Once I noticed that she allowed an NOPD offcer to drop his child off for an appointment, while he returned to work to come back later, as the second assistant mentioned relayed, in the outer office. Yet, when I soon after needed to go nearby to Xavier University where I worked to pick up an item I left there, these half-working miscreants complained to me after-the-fact that they "could not babysit". My child was well-behaved by all accounts, including there, and the same age group as the cop's child. Before long, I stopped going there altogether, and maybe the hurricanes destroyed a formal complaint made against her to the state about the Rx and overbilling practises. That was such unfair favouritism, yet to be expected from this phony, pseudo-friendly non-care provider.
