Political, territorial, cultural and language issues have fueled this soccer rivalry over the years. All these factors together make the entire country stop while this game is taking place.
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have to different ways to understand soccer. While Barcelona focuses on creating players on its players factory (La Masia), Real Madrid hires the best and consolidated players in the world.
(11/29/2009 Game) FC Barcelona 1 - Real Madrid CF 0
Barcelona dominated the game, had the ball for around 70% of the time. They lined up 7 players from the youth team, what made them apply their unique and classy soccer style. However, during the 1st half, Real Madrid had more opportunities to score than Barcelona did. Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo and Higuain were too fast for Barcelona defenders. During the second half, the same pattern, Barcelona moving the ball, controlling the game, but this time RM strikers were running out of fuel. Finally, and after showing its superiority for most part of the game, Ibrahimovic scored for FC Barcelona. Real Madrid tried to come back, but Barcelona midfilders Xavi and Iniesta made a great job taking care of the ball and contolling the game timing.
Congratulation for FC Barcelona fans, you have a great team (from a Real Madrid Supporter)
