I have been taking my dog to Midtown Vet Hospital for a little over 3 years. Service is great, Dr. Zimmer is thorough and spends as much time with you to explain what is going on with your pet as you want and he is very knowledgeable. About 2 weeks ago, she (our dog) underwent ACL knee reconstructive surgery at the hospital and everything has turned out great. It made me realize that this is a quality place to take your pet for both routine exams and major procedures.

I once kissed a girl whose nickname was Alf (named after this cgaracter). So obviously I think that Alf is an adorable creature. I think the character and the show were very much like that girl - much better and easier to swallow with a couple of bers in your system, but still very funny to look back upon.

If you don't cast your vote, you won't get any pudding. What are we going to do to all of those people that do not vote? Are they excused if they have a note from their mother? I firnly believe that within the right to vote, every American has the right to decide not to vote. Forcing the issue would only taint the ballot pool and lead to a more disgruntled population.

I have found that the search engine on the site is accurate (except the exact item that I am searching for is not always the first result) when I correctly type in a key word. However, my spelling is not the best when typing rapidly, so I would say that the site should increase the fuzziness of its search engine. I misspelled 'Elisabeth Shue' - I used a 'z' in her first name as opposed to an 's' and there were no search results. It seems as though the system should be able to find results, if there are any, from the word 'Shue'.

Mr. Hand from Ridgemont High as a martian in the 1950s. Nothing else can be or needs to be said.

Quite the characterm this Manson fellow is. I am really intrigued by his whole image, style and behaviors I am always curious to see what his new look is like and what trned/fad he is trying to launch next. That is kind of where my fascination in Marilyn ends. This record has a couple of driving songs on it that get your blood pumping, but unless you are a hard core Manson fan or Goth hard rock fan, the average music lstener will not be blown away or attracted to this record. I hope this guy stays in the limelight because I find his persona really interesting. I doubt that I will be buying any more of his music though.

I went to check out this school back in the late 80s when I was visiting potential schools that I might attend aftre graduating high school. Pretty much a liberal arts school in CT back then and it is my understanding that it is still the same these days. Along with being a liberal arts school, I remember it being a very liberal environment - a lot of people being individuals, so there was a real diverse crowd that made up the student body. I sat in on a couple of classes and was impressed with the quality of the curriculum.

I have been to the Cha Cha Cha Cha located in the Mission District and thought it was a really good restaurant. I went on a weekend night and it was pretty darn crowded - so beware or get there with the flexibility ot have a couple of drinks before being seated. Really good atmosphere, terrific tapas food and the drinks are really cold. Good place to go with a pretty large group of people or just a date.

I think it is always a good sign when you cannot easily categorize a band or say that they sound like so and so or whatever. Pavement definitely does not fit in cleanly with any real style of music. Lead singer Steven Maulkinas (sp?) is the force behind the band and could and probably will embark out on his own somewhere down the line. Great songwriting, catchy tunes with a bunch of screams and wails and guitar feedback thriwn in there. Pick up 'Crooked Rain Crooked Rain' or 'Slanted and Enchnated' in the used CD bin and you are only spending $7 on the possibility that you will discover a great band.

They blow so hard. I cannot stand this band. Not telling anybody not to listen to them or trying to get on anyone's case that likes the band. You can take them or leave them - do whatever you want to do. But like Beavis says 'Why do they call it taking a dump? You're not taking it anywhere, are you? They should call it leaving a dump!' I feel the same way about Live and suggest you leave them.
