Sculpter Auguste Rodin acquired the Hôtel Biron in 1905, with the goal of creating a museum of his works. In 1919, two years after his death, the Rodin Museum (Musée Rodin) was opened to the public, featuring the artist’s sculptures (including the famed “The Thinker” and “The Kiss”), drawings, and his collections from other artists. Also featured is a vast garden adorned with sculptures.
