Greece's National Archeological Museum is considered one of the best in the world, even despite that most of the 2nd floor has remained closed since a damaging 1999 earthquake. The collection includes Cycladic, Minoan, Mycenaean and Classical Greek pieces, and features frescoes, bronzes, pottery, sculpture, and jewelry dating as far back as 2,000 BC.
