Seoul Attractions

Seoul is located in the northwest region of South Korea, and though it is no longer the capital, it is still considered the country's center of political, cultural, social, and economic activity. The city was originally built on the Han River, because it was thought that a city located near this center of transportation could control the whole peninsula. Seoul's roots may be traced back as far as 18 BC, and today it thrives as one of the most populous cities in the world.
