English Comes from Latin! I Agree.

First of all, that's BS cuz English comes from German. I am constantly amazed by all the people I meet who swear up and down that English is a latin language. So I am curious as to where or from whom you got that idea? To all you people who think English actually comes from Latin, who told you that nonsense? I would like to know who's behind this conspiracy.
