Female U.S. Governors

Women face unique challenges when they run for public office. That being said, and although their numbers are small, female Governors stand out as better than their male counterparts at drawing crossover voters, dealing with the opposition party, and winning re-election. It's interesting to note that women are three times more likely as men to be running states dominated by the other party. Below is a list of the women who have served as Governors of U.S. states. Which were the most successful? Which, in your opinion, were not?
