The SAW film series began October 29, 2004. A new movie is released every year in October. Each film ends with a cliff-hanger and the next film begins from that. The movie is about people who have been suddenly kidnapped and wake up in an unknown room in an unknown location. They are in some sort of trap of torture. Jigsaw John speaks through his evil remote-controlled puppet, Billy, or on a tape recorded message. They must listen to the voice very carefully for instructions if they want to save their life. The traps cut deep. They might have to end a life to save their own, but if they all work together and make the right decisions, they all can survive, however time is running out. SAW 2 was the best of the film series in story development and reaching intense, high octane drama. On December 4, 2005, Producer Gregg Hoffman died suddenly. He was still given screen credit for SAW 3 and SAW 4. In SAW 3, we saw Jigsaw John a very sick man trying to save his own life. In SAW 4, we knew John was dead and a character we saw in SAW 3 would have a major lead role in SAW 4, SAW 5, SAW 6. In SAW 5, the traps continued and the cat-and-mouse game between Dect. Hoffman and Strahm unfolded. In SAW 6, Strahm is dead. We find out what is in the box and someone is after Dect. Hoffman. Will Hoffman survive in SAW 7 (2010)?
