Greatest Championship Game/Series that never happened

In sports, there are several matchup possiblities in a championship game/series that could have happened but did not, as one or both teams did not make the championship game/round. Here is you rchance to discuss what would have been the greatest sports championship meetings of all time. Keep in mind, this is NOT for dream/fantasy matchups (ie 1927 New York Yankees vs 1984 Detroit Tigers, or 1972 Miami Dolphins vs 1985 Chicago Bears) but for a championship that could have actually happened in a certain sports year.

Star Rating Scale: 1 = Boring or not that great / 2 = Average/Above Avg matchup / 3 = Good champonship / 4 = Outstanding championship / 5 = Greatest championship matchup
