Lawrence Coburn, Co-Founder and President
An original
founder of RateItAll, Lawrence has been obsessing about social
media and consumer ratings since early 1999. Lawrence is a
frequent speaker at the WebmasterWorld Pubcon conference series on subjects
ranging from marketing with widgets to social network theory, and has appeared
on ABC News as an industry expert. Prior to founding RateItAll, Lawrence
worked at Nortel in leadership roles in Internet strategy and Human
Resources. Lawrence holds a BA from Georgetown University, and an MBA from
the Goizueta Business School of Emory University. In his spare time,
Lawrence can be found playing hoops, writing about widgets on SexyWidget.com, and hanging around the Mission.
Mathew Spolin, CTO

Mathew has had over two decades of experience developing large-scale systems for Bay Area startups as well as companies like Oracle, Lilly, IBM, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, GSA, etc. Prior to his role at RateItAll, Mathew was the CTO and co-founder at Resilient Inc, an Enterprise process start-up. Previously, Mathew was the CTO and Chief Architect at Noosh, a B2B collaborative commerce start-up which Mathew helped bring to S-1 filing. Mathew blogs at

Jan Simacek, Lead Developer
Jan has been RateItAll's lead developer since 2005 and is solely responsible
for the introduction of several of RateItAll's key social media features
including tagging, widgets, and profile page embeds. A web developer since
the age of 15, Jan is a managing partner in the Phoenix based
development shop Compunix, LLC, and has
managed numerous, multinational, high profile development projects. In his
spare team, Jan schemes about ways to push a RateItAll toolbar to
the top of the development queue.
Kathleen Bahr, Content and
Community Manager
Kathleen has been
actively involved in moderating online communities since 1999. As
RateItAll's primary content manager within the Entertainment & Media
channel, Kathleen is responsible for keeping several of RateItAll's high traffic
ratings lists up to date. Kathleen also works very closely with RateItAll
partner Kraft Foods, where she provides content management and moderation
guidance for the Kraft Interactive Kitchen. Kathleen is a published author
and holds a BS from the University of Kansas and an MA from Columbia
University.

Robert Anderson, Advisor
An
accomplished entrepreneur, Robert Anderson is a long time advisor to
RateItAll and is largely responsible for RateItAll's technical development and
architecture. Robert is Lead Developer, Founder, and CEO of AspDotNetStorefront - a leading
ecommerce storefront used by more than 5,000 clients. Robert has several
ecommerce patents in process on behalf of AspDotNetStorefront, and has
successfully grown the company to market leadership in the ASP.NET
segment. Prior to founding AspDotNetStorefront, Robert helped take
20-20Consumer.com, a pioneering price comparison website, from a start-up with
$30K in debt to a $13M acquisition. Robert holds a a B.S. in Physics from
the Florida Institute of Technology.
Roger Dooley, Advisor
Roger Dooley is
founder and president of Dooley Direct LLC, a firm specializing in web marketing
and online community building. After moving from direct marketing to
e-commerce and web marketing, Dooley helped grow some of the Web’s most
successful specialty communities. He is an administrator at
WebmasterWorld, the leading web development and search engine optimization
forum; he is the founding moderator for the Community Building and Social
Networks forum there. He is a co-founder of College Confidential, where he
is the architect of the Web’s busiest community for college-bound
students. Dooley holds a BS from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA
from the University of Tennessee. He publishes several blogs, including Neuromarketing and the
eclectic rogerd’s notebook.
Rob Kroenert, Advisor
An original founder of RateItAll, Rob has been involved with RateItAll's
development for more than seven years. A subject matter area expert in the
area of market research and survey design, Rob is currently employed by Gallup
as a Senior Consultant. Prior roles include Director of Consulting
Services at TNS Prognostics, a leading market research firm, and management
positions at IBM at AT&T Solutions. Rob holds a BA from the University
of Michigan and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory
University.
