I'm not a fan of hot beverages unless it is a truly cold day. Since I live below the Mason Dixon line, that means that at least three quarters of the year I would rather have an iced cofee than one that is hot.

Iced coffee is a nice change of pace once in a while, but I still prefer iced tea with a fresh lemon wedge on the side.

It may sound crazy but Dunkin Donuts iced coffee is my favorite! Nothing more refreshing on a hot summer day.

Although there was a period in my life where I could have justifiably been called a "coffee addict", the concept of "iced coffee" just never appealed to me. If I want a cold drink, I'll have soda, water, or fruit juice. I can't explain my aversion to this day...it still makes no particular sense...but it's always existed. After all, would we drink "Hot, Steaming Coca-Cola"? Maybe some of us would...come to think of it, that actually sounds like an interesting concept...

On a scalding summer day in the city, irishgit is esconsed in sidewalk cafe table, a tall bitter glass of iced coffee at his elbow, a newspaper half attended in his hand, as the parade of Vancouver women pass by.
