Terrible quality clothing. Everything shrinks, stretches out, loses color and falls apart after two or three washes. Absolute waste of money. if you want stuff that lasts shop at the Gap, a little more expensive but you get to wear the stuff twenty times longer than their cheaper counterpart’s clothes.

I recently got a t-shirt for my daughter and when I washed (cold water and like colors) it BLEEDS ALL THE COLOR and have stained all the clothes that were together in the washing machine. I WILL NEVER EVER SPENT A DOLLAR IN THIS STORE. Be careful with the kind of fabric you buy because most of them bleeds the color. Cheapy quality of fabric...I rather buy in walmart and I bet you that the fabric they use in their clothes wont bleed at all. Good experience....like I say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one taking issue with their lack of quality in fabric. I thought I was beginning to sound like an old fogey, the 'back in my day they really made tee shirts!!!' I never really took issue with them until 2006 when I was buying maternity clothes; the long sleeved tees I bought there started wearing holes in the belly almost immediately, which I thought was more of a pregnant belly issue, not the fabric. Lately - the last 2 years or so I've been experiencing the same problem with regular women's tees. I know they're making these garments to 'layer' 2 or so at a time, but now I think that's a gimmick to sell more cheap clothes. The tees I've bought my kids are paper thin after one wash (after washing the sizing out); the seams in the garments come out (very poorly constructed), the fleece pills. The only thing they have going for them is the price which due to the lack of quality won't be enough to get me back in the store. And given the questionable manufact... Read more

Not only do they have great prices, I love Old Navy's customer service. I spoke with a woman name Kimber, Karen and a man and they were all very very helpful with my online missing package. I was angry and distraught at first, but all three remained calm and informed me of my options. I walked away as a satisfied customer. I'd choose a company with great customer service over a cheaper company with crappy service any day!

Old Navy USED to be one of the best stores. They had quality items and great sizing. Now it sucks! Walking into a store smells like waking into a tire shop. It stinks! Clothes are cheap & crappily made. I don't understand why they call their sweaters "sweaters" when they're thin as toilet paper. What happened to then wool pants and great work clothes? Yesterday I went into a shop in corona, california. They had just opened for the day and it was filthy! Dust all over the shelves AND the clothes. I just walked right out. I will never shop at Old Navy again.

I am normally very patient with waiting my turn but this time, I feel the need to let it out. I went shopping for jacket at Old Navy due to my neice saw a nice jacket with just the right color that she wanted. I went to the one on Lancaster Dr in Salem OR. They had a sign "The Line Starts Here" I got to be first in line while 2 cashier were already checking out customers. A customer came in the front door, went directly to the gift cards that are placed on top front shelves bordering one set of cash register, picks out couple cards and got in behind one of the customer already being checked out. Now in between this time, one of the cashier already saw me in line. This cashier proceeded to help the customer who got in front of me. This cashier also looked nervous and knew I was next in line. Why does Old Navy put up that sign if the cashiers are not going to enforce it????? I would have left the jacket with the cashier if it wasn't for the fact my niece wanted it. Also, stor... Let me start by saying that for the majority of my childhood, most of my clothes were bought at Old Navy. (I'm 20 by the way) For years it was good ol' quality clothing at a decent price with that all American/preppy style. I bought pretty much all of my clothes there until I was 16 because my parents stopped by buying my clothes and I couldn't really afford to buy any for myself. I went 2 years without stepping foot inside of an Old Navy...... A LOT CHANGED IN ONLY 2 YEARS!!! I stopped in Old Navy in August of 2008 to buy some back to school clothes for my first semester at college. As soon as I started rummaging through the racks I was extremely disapointed by the rather extreme decline in quality. Everything was this really paper thin, crappy, and just over all cheap looking fabric. I don't even know if it's cotton anymore. I think I might have stretched out the shirts 3 sizes just by trying them on. The stitching was terrible and felt like it was going to come loose any moment. ... Read more

You really can't complain about Old Navy, considering the prices never change, and the styles are always the same. Old Navy is the perfect family brand, offering decent clothes for all types of people. The sizing is accurate, and both skinny and heavy people can shop alike. It is more of a casual brand than anything - selling nice, casual shirts with solid clothes. Old Navy is a great brand just to buy the kids new school clothes, and even to get something to wear on a night out on the town. While they don't deliver anything excellent, as far as quality and style goes - they always put out comfortable clothes.

I bought a martini shaker and the top wouldn't come off. When I finally got it off it broke into pieces! Not only did I lose my money but I am now stuck with a p.o.s shattered martini shaker.

I used to get Old Navy for comfortable shirts. Now, they have holes in them the first wash, I assume this is from shipping from China, Taiwan or wherever. It looks like they have moths from shipping and the first wash, they fall apart. I won't go there again, if they lasted 2 years for cheap clothes they are worth it, but not $10 for 1 wear. It would be nice if Americans refused to buy non USA made products and then maybe we could have good quality again, even if you pay more, some things can last years. I have t shirts from 10 years ago, they still look good, (made in US) who needs to buy t-shirts every year in this economy. Just think we could be a third world country in the next 5 years as we don't support our own working class!!!

The *Old*Old Navy was great. I used to get pants with ease, no sizing issues, everything fit well. Shirts didn't fall apart, etc. These days the sizing on everything fluctuates so badly! When I try on dresses or blouses good luck fitting my chest in them. Not to mention the place the seem lays underneath the chest is so off. It's like they design half the clothes for undeveloped teenagers. And they have tons of stuff now with no shape whatsoever. More like big baggy tents. Some things look so cute on the rack but when you put it on, boy, so unfluttering unless you are a size 0, in which case baggy and unflattering doesn't really hurt you. Also, they completely redesigned my store...I can't find anything anymore. I perused the website 3 times to come into the store and find not 1 thing that I liked on the website in the store. Skirts people! Just skirts! And one day I went to look for blouses for a business meeting and they had absolutely nothing. Remember the cute work clothes they... Read more

Old Navy is good for flip flops and top tanks at their total clearance section. Inconsistent sizing prevents me from getting anything on their website, and they don't carry Long in the stores. I was dying to get a pair of khakis, but after I read the reviews by other customers on their website, I decided that I really shouldn't, unless I want to spend a ton of money and buy a pair in every size and color and cross my fingers when they arrive. I bought a couple of shirts, which all shrunk and deformed when I washed them washed on cold and dried on low heat! None of my other pieces of clothing, bought from other stores did that. The stores are very disorganized and smell really, really bad!

I stopped wanting to visit Old Navy stores in person long time ago because they're always dingy, cluttered, and loud. Not to mention that, while I'd usually find a heaping armload of things that caught my eye, by the time I left the fitting room, I'd be lucky to have 1 or 2 that actually met my expecations for fit, style, and quality. The sizing is inconsistent on all items, the cuts of many shirts are horribly unflattering, and don't even get me started on the pants/jeans. Not worth the time it takes to dig through and try on. And now, after my most recent online experience, I think I'm finally done with Old Navy altogether. $7 shipping sounds good, unless you're ordering one item for 7.99. And unless the item is not accurately represented on the site and you end up having to return it after all is said and done, which happens at least 50% of the time. Oh, and by the way, don't expect to actually receive your order until you've practically forgotten that you bought anything in the fi... Read more

clothes fall apart- look nothing like they look online- linen cargo pants- pockets stick out like a sore thumb on the side of the leg- button popped off the second time worn- cheap......also sent wrong items twice and a hassle to return... for flip flops and maybe pajama pants fine- but anything else I would suggest paying a little more somewhere else- you definitely get what you pay for-

I bought the boot cut jeans because they came in my size and when they arrived I noticed how paper thin they were! Since it is winter here you could feel the wind blast right through them. Well after only a couple washes a hole developed by the pocket. Saturday the whole seat of the jeans fell apart.....never again will I buy this cheaply made Chinese crap! I went online and found jean makers still in the US go figure and ordered some. They are thick and well made and will last for a long time. Goodbye Old Navy!

I shop at Old Navy for the extra length you get in the jeans.(Tall women say amen. )Because retailers only cater to the average sized woman I am left ordering longer jeans online, here's where the Old Navy/Gap comes in. My dislike with this company is that they don't carry these longer lengths in the store which means that I will always have to pay a shipping charge. But they are no different from other stores in that aspect, none of them carry the longer lengths in-store. The store also has changed their clothes style over the last 3-5 years, not a good move. It's a little younger and they are pushing away us old farts (and our money). But I absolutely love the Old Navy on-line shopping experience. One of the best in my opinion.

Love OLD NAVY for the price. Think... FOR THE PRICE. You aren't going to get a Saks or Neimans buy. Their $10 sleepwear should last for two years and look great. Great price for the wear! Don't expect to buy a $5 shirt and it last more than a year. But buy a $5 shirt and be happy wearing it out and then to bed when it goes to crap. Old Navy is EXACTLY what they advertise - cheap, poor quality, reasonably fashionable clothing. AWESOME NICHE Market!!! Don't you just love cheap labor? And cheap labor loves a marketplace! Old Navy (a sub of Banana Republic (same supplier, cheaper workmanship) has definitely hit the appropriate marketplace. What 13 year old still wears the same clothes 2 years later? Great idea!!! LOVE OLD NAVY!!! (Unless you are fat and then nothing will fit anyway so don't bitch!)

The quality and prices at Old Navy are actually decent. However, it's the fact that most people my age wouldn't want to be seen dead in their lame clothes which turns me off. It would help if they didn't have the image of such a "discount" brand, and the clothes to go along with it.

i like shopping at old navy because they always carry 30x32 jeans (which a lot of places don't have). i do have a problem with their shirts and tops because the mediums fit fine until you wash them... then they shrink too much in length. the larges will shrink to the length that you like, but then they don't fit in the torso like the mediums do. i think they need to basically make their mediums a bit longer to accomodate the shrink.

A good reason you should NOT pay Cash at Old Navy!!!!! I purchased a few pair of jeans for my 8 yr. old son. He was not with me so once I got them home and he tried them on there was a pair he did not like. So I went back to the store to exchange this pair for one he liked better. One problem, I could not find my receipt, but I only wanted to exchange and still had all the tags on the jeans so I thought that would be no problem. Come to find out that because I paid cash, not debit or credit card I was unable to do an even exchange!!!! What???? I could not believe this. I phoned the manager and she stood by the policy....guess I'm standing by mine....No more shopping at Old Navy!!!! CASH SPENDERS BEWARE AT OLD NAVY!!!!

I love their sweetheart jeans...only jeans that fit me but boy, are they slow with shipping! It takes them 3-4 days just to ship the merchandise! Also, the merchandise isn't packed very well...stuffed into a plastic bag and sealed basically. I much prefer shopping at the brick and mortar stores so I don't have to pay the $7 shipping fee. The only problem is the brick and mortar stores don't carry size 1 short. Still, I like their clothes, just don't be in a hurry to get them if you order online!

Old Navy has a decent selection of clothes for both women and men, including children. The quality of their clothes ranges from poor, to great. Their jeans being of the latter (great), as well as their shirts. Expect to pay $30+ for a pair of jeans, and $10-15 for a shirt. Unless on sale, of course! As Old Navy has some fantastic sales!
