 | stellans (0) 06/17/2002 | Wells' writing totally transports me to Louisiana and makes me want to read her books again and again. "Little Altars" was not quite as well done as "Divine Secrets" but both are fantastic works, and will remain in my personal library to be savored over and over. I hope she keeps writing!

 | ilovethehedgepig (0) 06/05/2002 | "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" was one of the most fantastic books I have ever had the privelige to read. I'm not so big on "Little Alters Everywhere," and not just because the subject matter was rough. It was, simply, a first novel and it shows.
