    this is the drink that causes people to wake up in a stranger's bathtub with your socks tied around your head wearing your t-shirt as a skirt.  alcohol packed Punch!P.O.B.'s in NOLA-- there is no substitute.  One is enough for anybody.  Find another bar to impress your friends with your drinking prowess.  Hurricane Hangover ain't worth it.FYI--- P.O.B.'s bathroom is upstairs.  yeah, I thought it was pretty damn funny myself.

    IF you're ever in New Orleans, go to Pat O'Brien's and get one, just to say you did. The walk a little further down Bourbon St. and get a Hand Grenade from Tropical Isle (they have a patent on this one).

    I love New Orleans and hurricanes are synonomous with NOLA. Sweet like punch but great!

    Very smooth tasting. Very unique in its own way. If you like the fruity taste, this packs a big punch. Caution- watch for the alcoholic content.

    My first exposure to the Hurricane was at a house party when I was at Georgetown University. This very wealthy kid from New Orleans decided to have a Mardi Gras theme party in which he shipped in real Hurricane glasses from some famous New Orleans bar as well as the ingredients. The party was good, and I really like the idea of a city having a drink to call it's own. Like a cheesesteak in Philadelphia, a burrito in San Francisco - why not a mixed drink?
