Fraud, Fraud, Fraud! Stay away do not use. You are just throwing time and money away. After i made a reservation my wife called the hotel directly and got a price that was $90 cheaper than what I got on this site, so i cancelled the reservations online. I never received a confirmation email on the booking or cancellation. I never received a resonse back on emails. Got a hold of someone twice at the 1-800-780-5733, both people told me it was a mistake and that I would receive a confermation email in 24hrs for a full refund (which was over $200). Guess what no refund, no emails. The original reservation was made over 20 days ago. Now when i call the number, I am put on hold for over twenty minutes till the line disconnects. So i went to my bank to dispute the charges since I used my ATM card. The claims woman called the number and was put on hold till she was disconnected. Now my bank is beginning an investigation. It could take another 30 days for me to get my money back. Worst damn hot... Read more

Very disreputable company - I would NEVER deal with any booking company again, much less this one. They claimed to give me a corporate rate on my reservation, but when I got suspicious, I checked into it and found they actually charged $65 more a night then if I phoned the hotel direct. I cancelled my reservation through them, and they shortchanged my credit by $29. They would NOT return any of my emails complaining about the shortage. In the future I will ALWAYS call the hotel direct.

I just stayed at a hotel that said I could park my car at the hotel and they would shuttle me to the airport. The parking is always free when i do this and that is why I chose this hotel. When I booked and had already paid ahaed of time. They told me they did not honor this in the summertime. ONLY the shuttle to the airport but that I could not leave my car there at the hotel while I was gone for three days. The paperwork did not say this. It said shuttle to airport and when i booked they said I could leave my car there to avoid the airport fee. This is why I usethis hotel and travel.com. I could of stayed at a nicer hotel and had them keep my car. Very poor service!

*** DO NOT USE HOTELRESERVATION.COM OR TRAVELNOW.COM (Same Company) *** I booked a room in Williamsburg, vA for one week at a decent rate (about 10% less than through the hotel directly). Seeing how nasty the hotel was I wanted to check out of the hotel early, so I searched Hotelreservation.com's web site for a phone number. Surprise, there was none, so I emailed them using their web form since they didn't even post an email address. My confirmation email actually came from TravelNow.com, and the reply address was [email protected], so I didn't bother sending an email to that address. As of this posting they STILL HAVE NOT REPLIED to my email after 6 days, but I found out from the hotel manager that TravelNow.com is a booking partner with Expedia. He gave me Expedia's customer service number which I used to get TravelNow.com's phone number, 817-333-5399. Did you catch that? You can call HotelReservation.com and TravelNow.com at 817-333-5399. When I first called them the re... Read more

This company is a rip off! Tried to get 3 nights for the Sands regency in reno, nevada for hot august nights. Agent quoted me $253. When I called the Sands regency to confirm they had no information about me. Called travelnow.com back up and they sent me an email and they charged and withdrew $402. Customer care center is in central america...this is BULLS**T! Takes em 2 seconds to get your money and it takes 72 hours to a week to get a full refund. This company is a scam. Hardly speaks english and very unorganized. Now I'm $400 short for my trip thanks to these bitc***! STAY AWAY I wish I could meet the owner of this company so I can sock his teeth down his throat!

I Give this company a BIG FAT ZERO!!!! This is the worst booking agency around...I have 5 children and realize that most hotels will not accomodate us a family of 7 in 1 room. I get that. So when we contacted Travel now to find a suite at a hotel for 2 adults and 5 children which is a family of 7, they said no problem they had us a room with 2double beds and a sleeper sofa and made the reservation. In the email confirmation it said 2 adults and 2 children, with no mention of what type of room we were getting. So we called them rigth back to see why it said that, and why no room type was listed. To our surprise the lady told us that our reservation were for a family of 4 and we were getting a room with 2 double beds and a big fat OH WELL. While my husband argued with them on the phone. I called the hotel directly and asked them what kind of room we were reserved for and they told us that Travelnow called them and told them that we had 5 children, and they had told them there was no way ... I recently booked hotel rooms in Victoria B.C. for 10 days and was charged a US exchange rate when I was booking the hotel from Toronto On. I have just received the amount on my Visa bill and cannot get any response from [email protected]. It looks like I am out the exchange rate. Don't use them!!

I received a confirmation e-mail and was informed that it would be contacted within 24 hours, with further questions or a confirmation details. Well a day later I was informed that there had been an error in the system while processing your hotel reservations. And then I could rest assured that my credit card was not charged for this reservation. Well they lied http://www.nutnworks.com/forums/showthread.php?p=46 944#post46944

I stayed at America's Best Value Hotel at 2201 Memorial PKWY NW in Huntsville, AL and it was a NIGHTMARE. Within 1 hour of my arrival, I had a women knock on my door inquiring if I was alone. Then she proceeded to offer sex for money. Needless to say that did not go over very well for her. Then, about 1 hour later, another female knocked on my my door (10PM) and offered sex (B-job) for $20. She too also went away very disappointed. Then during the night I received three room to room phone calls from these two women, each time wanting me to change my mind. I finally left the phone off the hook. I did notify the hotel management, but they hardly spoke English, with the excepiton of one who spoke broken English. The only thing the were willing to do is nock off $2.00 from the room rate. Later that night (around 11:30), there were cars in the parking lot with the one driver revving the engine and another squealing the tires. I notified management and nothing was done. I had to... !! BAD SERVICE !! NO RELIABILITY !! NOT TRUSTABLE !! I booked my hotel at Hotels.com, but somehow the real agent behind my booking is TravelNow.com. When I arrived at the hotel, my reservation info was not at the hotel. After I showed my print-out, I got a room, but 2 weeks later, I saw a charge on my credit card at the DOUBLE PRICE from my booking price. I called TravelNow.com, they told me to call the hotel directly, and hung up on me when I asked why I should call hotel but I had contract directly with TravelNow.com for the guaranteed price.

I BOOKED A RESERVATION AT HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON SARASOTA, FL FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY 7/3-5, 2009. WHEN I ARRIVED, THE HOTEL DIDN'T HAVE ANY RESRVATION FOR US. TRAVELNOW HAD MADE US A RESRVATION FOR 6/19-21, 2009. LUCKILY, THE HOTEL HAD A ROOM AVAILABLE, BUT I HAD TO PAY CASH THE SECOND TIME. WHEN I CALLED TRAVELNOW, THEY SAID IF I HAD BOOKED FROM AN AGENT, THEY COULD HELP ME, BUT SINCE I BOOKED ON LINE, THEY CAN'T REFUND ANYTHING. DON'T USE THEM! ESPECIALLY, DON'T BOOK WITH THEM ONLINE - YOU'RE OUT OF LUCK! KAREN HALLGREN, LEESBURG, FLORIDA.

I only gave them one star because it isn't possible to give zero. After pruchasing two tickets 'someone' tried to use my credit card to purchase another 2, I had to cancel that card. I had to contact them, the only phone number on their page is a totally different hotel booking company, they did not even know what travelnow is. Took me about 1.5 hrs to find out which company actually has my booking. I sent them emails, submitted online forms, no answer - so much for their 24/7 dedicated customer care. Also rang the airline (KLM - another zero-star from me), they weren't even able to tell me which agent made the booking. My advice: Travelnow.com - avoid it by all means.

The contact number for travelnow.com is 1-800-568-1972. They are part of hotels.com that is how I found the phone number. They ripped me off too, luckily it was only for $5.00.

I made a reservaton through travelnow.com for my daughter at a Hilton hotel near the Sea-Tac aiport to stay in during our snowstorm. When I called the hotel to inform them she would be checking in quite late, they had never heard of me! The confirmation number was not one used by that chain. They were already overbooked and could not accommodate her, she had to spend the night at the airport. I could not find a phone number for travelnow, and they have not responded to email. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I booked 2 rooms at the Super 8 motel, Monterey, CA via the hotels.com website, which used travelnow.com to make the reservations. When I checked in at the hotel the manager told me that the rate I had was an AAA rate although I am not an AAA member. Nothing about AAA rate was ever mentioned on the website when I booked the rooms. This is clearly an error on the website. I had to pay $78 more than expected. Now travelnow.com offers $30 in vouchers as a compensation for their mistake an consistently denies any answer to my several following emails. Hotels.com say they can't do anything. Therefore I do not recommend to use travelnow.com to make a reservation as they do not seem reliable and offer poor customer service.

This is one of my first experiences buying flying tickets, through the internet. We gave all the information they asked us expecting the rate given, then they sent a mail asking to send the credit card information via fax to complete the reservation. They gave us the Airline Itinerary #, this was on Sat. so we faxed the information with no reply on Sun. nor Mon. all of the sudden they send us another e-mail with the response to our reservation # but they said it had to be with more than seven days in advance! We did it within the days beeing asked but after this we had no more response.By this time we could only get airplane tickets with a $200 difference per ticket. There was no way of contacting anyone for a resonable answer. I'm just asking is this fair?

Using travelnow was an awful experience for myself on my roommates. 1.) They confirmed our tickets within 24 hours, but then cancelled them citing fraud because our billing address was different from our shipping address. 2.) When calling customer service they were rude and not helpful at all, actually going on to insult us for taking a vacation. The point is, if you have to pay 10 or 20 dollars use another website for the sense of security and also the fact that if your ticket is cancelled the 10 dollar processing fee will still be charged to your account and plane ticket prices may go up later.

It was really great at first because I found a cheap price for a cruise. The bad thing was that they didn't mention details like that I had to be 21 or with someone who was 25.
