I mean really, a couple in a relationship, and have no shared interests? One, two, three, how many? Pretty much the foundation of a relationship is shared interests, and even more important, take politics, should be important to everyone. But because we have a shared interest, doesn't mean we have to agree 100%, nor should it be cause for stress and strife, it should be stimulating to pass ideas and ideals back and forth, NO ONE HAS THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING. The Country is mostly goofed up now, because we are bound and determined, so it seems, to be polarized. Gotta stop that and start sharing ideas back and forth, be willing to freaking listen, and willing to admit that maybe there is a better method and go with it. We have Debate Teams, it is sharing of ideas and hopefully the results will end up with something that is helpful for most, probably will never get one plan that suits everyone, but we could get a ton closer on a bunch of critical issues if we would approach the di... Is is essential that you speak the same language meaning common interests but if the person you loved may have interests other than yours, I say understanding the other matters most.

To a point, they are. But, they do say "Opposites attract". I mean I definitely do not want to date someone who is the exact same as me cause then that will just get boring, no excitement or getting into anything new and that just sucks XP.

Particularly important when the "similar interests" list aligns with the "sexually compatible" list. In fact, that's downright crucial....
