This book will undoubtedly change your opinion on the federal government, the federal reserve, the constitution, and the future of the United States. In short, this book will really make you angry! Dr. Paul points out the lies, manipulation, and power grabbing that has been taking place for decades. If this book doesn't open your eyes to our reality, than nothing will and you should cease reading books and continue watching ESPN. Like the cover says, there is a Revolution coming to America. Whether it is good or bad depends on how quickly people can get informed and educated to what is going on.

I didn't really know what a Libertarian was until I read this book. I'm not sure I know now, but I THOUGHT I was a Republican. I am not. I've just voted that way since Bill Clinton's term expiration. I may have to continue voting Republican, because the lying liars know as Democrats certainly don't embody Libertarian ideals, or my ideals, now confused by having read this book. Guess what, Republican's are also lying liars and don't embody Libertarian ideals, but they are closer, and therefore, in theory, less worse. Here's the strange thing, Ron Paul came across as a weird, decrepit old goofball in the Republican primary race. Why anybody supported him was beyond me at that point. That's because I knew nothing about him. I don't know that much about him now, except that he is a genius, and has the intestinal fortitude to vote "No" for a lot of stupid bills. For that he was dubbed "Dr. No." That was probably meant as an insult or a derogatory nickname. On the contrary, I think it is... Read more

On the canvas of contemporary discourse where the art of persuasion has been lost to fear mongering and party bashing, I welcomed Dr. Paul's book as a more balanced approach than I've associated with him in the past. Rest assured, his calls to action are still delivered with a warning of the great perils at stake when a democratic society abandons its constitution. Yet I was relieved that the author challenged me to evaluate ideology not against a politically constructed scale of right or wrong, but the only consensus document that can and should be used to guide American government. One minor issue is the absence of citations as noted by other reviewers. It may have been a literary decision to make the book less intimidating, but I would have welcomed the convenience in chasing down some of the sources. All the same, the book ignited my curiosity in the living heritage of democracy. If you're even a little bit willing to hone your own thinking, then open yourself to the fri... Read more

This book is an essential read for those who love America & Freedom. There are numerous reasons america is not the same as it used to be, most of them are because americans don't know their history correctly. We have institutions in this country that fly under the radar of most americans. If we would figure this out all at the same time there would be a revolution, not to say a violent one though. It would be based off knowledge. If you want to travel into the rabbit hole of knowledge, visit http://video.google.com and watch the 2 documentaries titled "the money masters" and "Zeitgeist Addendum". Enjoy

Ron Paul teaches you why being a middle of the road Republican is not the right course. After reading this you will understand why it is now time to move our country back to the right.
