After reading all these reviews I couldn't help but write one myself. Every product and company has their problems but my experience with Incredimail was totally different from some others on this site. I love the product and got great response from support. I did have a problem with the installation process and they helped me fix it. I also paid for gold gallery but didn't want to renew and I did not get billed again. I use this product all the time and find it really simple and useful.

Ran this Email Client for nearly 5 years. I bought the full version after a brief trial run, and it was just OK. It did do some buggy things, but I expect that with a Windows OS. I started noticing increasing problems with the program that required multiple reboots. The program quit working completely, and I visited the Incredimail Website to seek a solution. The crafty devils have a new version; complete with a built in browser hijacker. I couldn't help but wonder what other crap they loaded into their software. Their original version would allow pop ups to appear in the Task Bar; but it didn't happen often, and it was always easy to get rid of the advertising. It was not painful to permanently delete Incredimail from my hard drive. The browser hijacking was the final straw. The animations of really grating smileys; and slobbering dogs; start to become really annoying quickly. There are far better email clients available. I truly dislike paying good money for an annoyance, and Incred... Read more

Never been so disappointed. The developers never learnt " if it aint broke don't fix it. Sure they could have worked to improve the speed and frequent crashes. Unfortunately, they have changed features that most people liked e.g.. Address book Many other previous features need to be searched for. Colour is too bright and wishy washy.

I am a very long time user of Incredimail Premium but now they are denying my registration code I purchased several years ago. Do not think I would pay another fee to get premium again, will likely say goodbye to Incredimail. Richard C. Nickeson ([email protected]

Yes, there are - as always - a few more options removed, but overall I'd say it seems pretty much the same. The address book is a pain, though. But the main difficulty for me is that I use an IMAP account and it is soooo sluggish that my computer freezes until the send/receive is finished! That's enough to get me thinking of reverting to XE, which suited me very well. In fact, I was considering buying the premium. Not gonna happen now!

Incredimail 2 is a drastic downgrade of Incredimail Xe. My main complaint in the Address Book. You can no longer separate Personal and Business addresses. You can no longer separate the City,State, and Zip (Postal) Code in an address. There is no category for a Fax phone number. When you try to make a Group Contact, many times it does not "apply" the names causing you to re-enter the information several times. I use my Address Book as a contact list. In Incredimail 2, you must enter an e-mail or the software will reject the entry. The way to get around it is to enter a "dummy" e-mail. I entered "no@emailx". Where "x" is a sequential number. It does not except duplicate e-mails. I have used Incredimail for approximately 8 or 9 years and loved it until this new version. I am giving up my lifetime license and looking for another e-mail client. By the way, the only reason I went with Incredimail 2 is because I upgraded to Windows-7. Incredimail Xe is not compatible with Windows-7. By t... Read more

Just adding my voice to the rest. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! You will be randomly charged for unrequested "subscriptions" at irregular intervals (I haven't used this program for over a year since it will not run in either of my Vista machines--I found this out before I discovered how shady the company is). I am currently in the middle of dispute #1 for a renewal they charged me for without authorization, and I suspect there will be more. My credit card company says I cannot block further charges but will just have to go through the paperwork to dispute each one as it comes along. With luck, this company will be out of business soon.

WARNING! Be careful when you cancel a subscription with Incredimail. Be sure to notify your card company or bank, that you are canceling an Incredimail subscription, and you should be getting a refund from them. Once you get the refund, have all attempts by Incredimail stopped from recharging you again. Kids AND parents, I do not recommend dealing with people for whom, if there is a complaint, kids or their parents can not contact these people by phone, to deal with the complaint. I rate Incredimail a 3 for handling animations and backgrounds. Should you have to deal with Incredimail, on a money matter, I rate them a 1. Your in for a treat, should you have to deal with these people. I bid you all good luck!

I love this program. I have used it for years and on Win 98, XP Home & XP Pro. Never had a problem with it. Tip regarding the statement below that complained "Every time I ran a new version, they took something (backgrounds, notifiers, etc.)away and put it in the GOLD category so they could charge extra for it." When you download it, don't just open the file, SAVE it! I keep an incredimail folder in my documents and save all letters, notifiers, etch into the folder. That way, I never loose them. I simply reinstall!

DONT BUY THIS The latest is that when you upgrade to version 2077 the spam filter is changed with a new one that is disactivated by default and you have to pay a yearly suscription to activate it. That means that to buy Incredimail, not see their publicity banners and avoid spam, you have to pay around $ 90 the first time and $ 40 each year to be protected against spam plus at least $ 25 a year if you want to be a Gold Member which gives you more backgrounds and other graphics to use. they screw you, you have to pay every year now 40$ for junkmail filter. And it was free

A lot of eye candy at the price of performance. IncrediMail is very resource intensive and bloats the Windows registry. If/when you get tired of the novelty, you'll uninstall but still have a lot of clean up to do. It's your fault. You took the software. And if you're not technically savvy, there's not much you can do to effect repairs. Maybe seek out some of the software that purports to clean up after IncrediMail (yes, there is a demand, so it does exist!)

Every time I ran a new version, they took something (backgrounds, notifiers, etc.)away and put it in the GOLD category so they could charge extra for it. The basic stuff use to be nice; now it's just the crap they can't sell on GOLD. Tech support was useless. However, coma, dramatic pause...if you like spyware/adware, you'll love it.

Incredimail did nothing but mess up my whole computer. After I took it out; my computer worked great again! Not sure why this happened but my view of incredimail is very different than before. I love pretty and customizable emails but not when my computer is acting weird because of it.

Makes email more fun and interactive. Upgraded versions are inexpensive for the features added and support via EMAIL for upgraded version are via responses from REAL people who REALLY CARE!!!
