    I love the idea behind BTR. I have read many awful stories about the site before I decided to order. The return policy and customer service horror stories I have read made me realize that maybe I should stay away from clothes and shoes unless I know the brand WILL fit me. So last August (2011) I decided to go for it and purchase these great Moroccan lanterns for $16.99 the set of 2 instead of $35. Great deal. My impressions: 1. Regardless of people complaining about shipping, it is written VERY clearly on the purchase page that processing will take 3 to 4 weeks. Also written very clearly that they do not refund, but offer store credits. 2. I received confirmation by email of my order within the hour of my purchase. 3. I ordered on Monday August 8, I received order update emails weekly every Monday on the 15, 22, 29, and September 1st I received a shipment reference number. 3 days later, my order was at my door = so, within the time they estimated. 4.     The shipping terms stated "An email confirmation will be sent to you once the order is received." I ordered WELL over a month ago. I have not received an email from Beyond the Rack or FedEx regarding my order. I have not received a response to any of the three emails sent to customer service, so their customer service clearly sucks. I have not received the order at all. It took 4 weeks for a tracking number to surface, even with that the arrival date has changed 3 times. It has been "in transit" for 8+ hours now. "In transit" means on it's way to destination, it is not going to show up. I called Fedex, long story short, they don't really have record of it, it may or may not show. Again, no response from customer service, may have to take it up with my bank....

    The only complaint you'll hear about this site is Slow Shipping - though it's not slow shipping - Once they do ship, it takes 5 days to go from Onterrible to BC - It seems to take a while for them to obtain the items for them to ship ... (as they don't order supplies until after the sale ENDS) Anytime I've emailed them to follow up on an order (I have over 16 orders in 6 months) I get same-day response in email... It's the only online shopping I do now .. I love beyondtherack.com .. I check it daily as I do crackbook and hotmail!

    Well, I can't say I hate this company, cuz I'm not like waiting everyday outside the door for my order to arrive, I knew that the items could take up to 3 months to arrive ! but honestly I dont give a f** how long, yes ! is slow as hell, but I'm happy with the items i received, I actually got refunded twice cuz they couldn't ship 2 items, and happened the next day. If you have the patience of a nun this website is for you !, choose your items carefully though.

    DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BEYOND THE RACK! It's been over 5 weeks and no response to my emails. I will be warning all those whom I work with that are tempted to shop at this site. I recommend everyone to report them to the Better Business Bureau of Canada. Tip to all those on line shoppers. Check out forums and tweets on a site you wish to shop from. If you pay low rate for designer items they are knock offs made in China and not the real thing. If you want a deal go to the actual store during the week because most of those stores are desperate for your business in this failing economy, so they have secret sales with everything 40% to 50% off. As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it is! Update: after about 5 emails they finally contacted me, gave me the option to hang on and wait longer or bail and get a refund. I opted for a refund and was refunded a day later. Looks like they hired more staff but time would have been better spent on finding more reliable suppliers.

    PLEASE READ MY POST BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! SCAM SCAM SCAM PLEASE STEER CLEAR AND DON'T BE A VICTIM LIKE I AM! Sorry my english is really bad but I have to get the word out there to help others before they spending their cold hard cash on counterfeit stuff. I never had any problem with their shipping, maybe because I'm in Canada. I don't even care if I have to wait for a month or two but at least sell me real stuff. Upon the arrival of the second designer bag that I ordered, I realized that my first Dior bag was FAKE too. I contacted the customer service and they refused to refund my money but return as store credit. I had spent over $3000 worth of stuff at Beyond The Rack that are FAKE, even my 10 year old baby sister noticed. I am very frustrated and don't know what to do, I felt very dumb and stupid.     I ordered three items from the website however I didn't get them all together. I got my first item one and a half weeks from the order date, the second item ( after I inquired about it a 3 weeks later) I received 1 week later. The third item I have yet to receive.... (42 days later). I proceed to email BTR because I can't find a phone number ANYWHERE on the website. I get a response saying it's on the way (being inspected, packaged, picked up for delivery... who knows how much longer that will take). At this point, I'm done with all the follow ups and I'm fed up. I want to end this relationship asap. I call the customer service number and this lady answers. She informs me as per the FAQ's that the min. amount of time to ship something is 4 weeks, and that it's known that they get their goods elsewhere and is not in inventory.     Worst company EVER. I placed an order, and was confirmed that they were getting merchandise and over a month later I get an email that says my order is being canceled and the money was going to be refunded back to my credit card... which would be fine except it was a card I got from a refund and after the money was used I throw out the card. Customer service basically told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to figure out how to get the card back... After wasting over an hour of my time I got the card reissued NO THANKS to ANYONE of their employees help.... All I can say is STAY AWAY from this company.

    Dreadful. Best deals are mysteriously "reserved" the second the screen comes up for the event. I wonder why all the products for certain designers are "reserved" at one second past the time they come up on screen? Also, I ordered a pair of boots and a pair of shoes in November, which I kept getting update emails about, to detail the progress of my order, and, after waiting 2 months was informed that the shoes were not available. It took forever for my account to be credited, yet it took a second for my credit card to be debited. I will never buy from them again.

    I have purchased hundreds of items on-line and this is BY FAR THE WORST ON-LINE RETAILER I have run into. Poor quality Extremely slow Rude staff Dishonest claims No refunds (exchange only, even for faulty merchandise) I would advise avoiding this company like the plague. It's not just my experience, they get terrible reviews on every website I have seen (the few positive review appear to come from company shills.)

    I ordered a pair of sz. 10 Matisse Black Suede Pirate Boots ( above the Knee Boots, as I am CONSTANTLY thinking that the TALLER the BOOT- The LESS of my LEG will show. I'm almost up to my WAIST now, WHICH, of course, is my GOAL:) from Beyond the Rack, approx. 3 1/2 weeks ago. I paid with PayPal. Upon checkout, they made it VERY clear that it would be at LEAST 4-6 weeks before I would recieve my Boots as Beyond The Rack had to recieve the Boots from Matisse, and THEN, upon recieveing them, SEND THEM TO ME. This was made ABUNDANTLY clear. So, when I recieved them TODAY, 1/2 week EARLY, I was DELIGHTED!! I had not even STARTED to wonder about them!!     I haven't had any problems until yesterday. Suddenly,they no longer ship to Alaska. We are now considered a remote (like Timbuktu country) I was willing to pay extra shipping,but no freaking dice! Oh,they do owe me for a partial shipment from November. I am very upset with companies who think of Alaska as another country.

    Do not purchase from Beyond the Rack. I ordered a coat and paid $70, which they promptly debited from my account. However, I ordered the item at the end of November and it is now Feb 4 and I have not received my order. I contacted them weeks ago and received the following response : "The merchandise is currently in transit from the supplier and is scheduled to arrive shortly. While we do our very best to ship orders in a timely fashion, merchandise arriving from international or US suppliers may take longer to be received at our warehouse due to custom clearance delays.     I give Beyond the Rack a zero out of ten. They take more than a month to send you items and when they do they are lacking tamper proof seals or they are damaged. I have four orders still pending that were purchased in December 2010. They take your money immediately, however, use it for over a month before they send you the items. Hautelook and Ideeli are 1000000000 times better, they respond to your inquiries with 2 hours (Beyond the Rack takes 4 days) and you have your items in two weeks not 5 or 6 weeks.

    this is the worst online company i have dealt with so far, besides their products which are sometimes designer clothes/accessories their shipping takes FOREVER to get to you, and what is the most ridiculous part is that it is so expensive, AND it takes more than a month to get to you. My biggest problem with Beyond the Rack is that I asked them for my tracking information and number and they never provided me with it, and did not even bother to reply to my email. I had to return several items because they did not fit and one of them was a cardigan with a belt and it did not arrive with a belt. I sent it a week after december 24th when it arrived and I still HAVEN'T gotten Beyond the rack credit so i can buy something else (Oh by the way they don't reimburse you, they only give you store credit, that credit does not count the $10 you pay for s&h which if you buy something else you'll have to pay again) Their customer service is horrible.     This is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. I can't believe my item was only marked shipped after 2 months!!!! Up till now, I still have not receive my item. They use Fedex ground shipping and authorize them to leave the package in my front door!!! I live in an apartment complex and no other postal service company will ever leave stuff at the door. I called Fedex and they said it was Beyond the Rack who authorized them to do so. I was furious to the max. I emailed Beyond the Rack and they never got back to me. I will never buy anything from them anymore.

Not only did I want a MONTH for 1 of my 2 ordered items but I received it yesterday and it is COMPLETE CRAP! I would try for my money back but it's been such a headache dealing with them in the first place that I'd rather chew my arm off before dealing with this company any further.. OH and I'm still waiting for my second item but if it doesn't arrive, i'm just chalking it up as a blessing in disguise because it's probably just as much crap as the first item i received.     I ordered a Jessica Simpson dress back in mid November 2010. By the time I received the garment it was mid December. Not only was it not mentioned that it would take a month to receive my purchase but it was the wrong garment. I immediately sent the garment back and its now taking 3 weeks for me to receive a refund back to my credit card. I've constantly tried to call and email customer service and nooone gets back to me, if any in a resonable time frame (24-72 hrs) There are so many other sites i'd rather shop (gilt.com, hautelook.com, ruelala.com) that offer better products, much faster shipping, and impecable customer service. Don't bother wasting your money, time and energy on this site.

    Customer Service completely lacking! they don't answer the phone at all sometimes, when they do you get put on hold for over 20 minutes, they are then rude, they don't answer emails for up to a week or more. I have placed 5 orders. The first one was missing an item and they state on the email ORDER FULFILLED when they ship it. I had to email back that there was an item missing - they reply that it is back odered. Well 3 months later (after many emails and phone calls) I finally received it (because I also told them I would not accept a refund for an item I clearly wanted when I ordered it - I told them basically to get it and like I said after 3 months it finally arrived). 2nd order I paid $72 for an item I saw again a week later list for $29 - I demanded the difference be refunded 3 times before they agreed to and then it took over 2 months to receive it. 3rd order received my email that it was shipping again with 1 of the 2 items on back order (while it said order fullfilled?) again ...     I ordered two jumpsuits and my card was processed on December 11th. I just received them today...January 5th. The jumpsuits were great but their shipping time is unacceptable. They list items then request them from the company that has the item, which is called "drop ship". I don't know whether the fault goes to BTR or the actual company the item came from. Either way they need to commit to fast shipping! Much too long to wait for an item. Almost a month.

    I was excited to see a discount designer website that seemed legit but I guess "too goo to be true" is very true in this case. I ordered very expensive vitamins in September 2010. I sent 9 e-mails to the customer service email and never once got a non-automated response so they never helped me find my order. Delivery was a max of 15 days but I never saw my item until December 2010. When it arrived, all vitamins were expired. I then tried the customer service phone number and after 45 minutes on hold I got through to an actual human being. The were actually very kind and was very apologetic. They actually acted as if it happens all the time. She told me that I would receive a full refund and they would pay for the return shipping. I followed her instructions.     Ordered a watch back in September for my daughter's birthday. She won't even get it for Christmas. The sad part is that it was a highly recommended site on the Steven and Chris show. They took the money for the watch immediately....but no product.

    Wish I could give it a lower star than 1! I ordered once and it will be my last. It is too bad because I spend a lot on clothing and could have been a good customer. Only half of my order arrived. I contacted them to ask about the other half and was given a different (non-working) email to use. I contacted the main customer support several more times, but was only given an email that said they were looking into it. Total, I've contacted them now 6 times in three months. It's obvious that my dress will never arrive. Well, my future orders to them will never arrive either. Stay away from this company. They are dishonest. They should be put out of business.

    I've made my first and LAST order from the site. I ordered 2 bottles of perfume; ones I've used in the past. One of the 2 bottles is completely rancid/spoiled/foul smelling and should never have been sold to begin with. I contacted their customer service immediately upon receiving this DEFECTIVE item and today receive a moronic response from someone in their Refunds Dept (a "Refund Coordinator" is what she specified her position to be) advising that I'm essentially S.O.L. because Perfumes fall into the category of "intimate items" that "cannot be returned/refunded/exchanged for HYGIENIC reasons. Funny though...in the list she copied/pasted, of items that fall into this category, nowhere did it state "perfume" was one of them.     Some good deals but not great. I get better deals on smartbargains and overstock. Also takes at least 4 weeks to recieve if not longer, do not plan on buying christmas presents here. if you order and change mind even 30min later, you are told too late yet they have to give order to another company that has the product. I needed new tableware something fierce and saw really nice set for good price. No show after 4weeks so I cancelled. Fortunately I got no grief. Then ordered brown schetchers for son's school uniform(he is hard to fit), took over 5 weeks. Already bought 2 pair by that time. Albeit shoes nice, good price and fit. Will not ever order again. Not worth the wait!

    I was soo very disappointed with beyond the rack! I first experience I ordered a pair of boots which took almost 4 weeks to arrive and then my second purchase was a ski cabin getaway for 5 nights, that night I rushed home thrilled to to tell my family I was taking them away on for their first ski vacation! The next day I received an email that they were refunding my money as they had made a mistake on pricing! I almost cried with disappointment, as there error was not something I could afford. In the email they sent, it was like it was no big deal, the email read “due to an error in our system, we need to cancel and refund your order” but not to worry because “ We will add a $15 BTR credit to your account as compensation.” This was such a huge error the more I thought about the more it upset me, no phone call to apologize, a $15 credit?! My advice is there are so many other reliable and trustworthy shopping centre’s online AVOID Beyond the Rack!

    I ORDERED A PAIR OF BOOTS ON 10/27 2010, TODAY IS 12/07/2010, AND I HAVE YET TO RECIEVE A CREDIT ON MY CARD OR THE PRODUCT!!!!I HAVE CALLED AND CANCELLED THE ORDER TWICE, AS WELL AS SENT CANCELLATION EMAILS TWICE, WITH NO RESPONSE TO THE EMAILS. WHEN YOU CALL, YOU HAVE TO BE ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES FOR YOUR PLACE IN LINE. I CANCELLED THE ORDER TWICE, BUT RECIEVED S SHIPPING NOTIFICATION 2 DAYS AFTER THE SECOND CANCELLATION. SUPPOSEDLY THE ORDER SHIPPED 12/01/2010, BUT TODAY IS THE 7TH AND I DON'T HAVE IT. I HAVE FILED A DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. ABSOLUTLEY THE WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD.     You always wait quite a while for things from this site as they are processed through Canada. I waited a very long time to receive shoes, one 8 and one 10. This did not work for me what with having both feet the same size. It took FOREVER to get any response, and then to convince them that it was a fault at their end. I finally got a refund on the item but not the shipping, which they had agreed to. And now no response to emails. So I paid for someone packing the box to me who is sight-impaired. So $10 later for shipping I have nothing but wasted time. So I figured I would use a bit more to warn others. TO BE AVOIDED

    I've tried beyondtherack twice now with miserable results. It takes 2+ months to receive your item, and they actually charge for this crap service ($9.95)! After nearly 3 months of waiting, I receive my items in a (very) beat up box, with one sheet of construction paper used filler. One of the items was broken, and they charge you $9.95 to ship it back!?! (Who knows when, or if, you'll ever see the replacement / credit again). PLUS, chances are you can find the exact same items on a different site with better shipping terms and a lower price! Don't be a sucker for the nice looking website, they are a store with horrible service! PS-I still haven't received the second purchase...

    Horrible experiences with this company. Last year I shopped early at BtR for three Christmas gifts. BtR was advertising at that time that all orders would arrive in time for Christmas. None of the orders arrived and I had to scramble for last minute gifts, which sucked because I had a substantial portion of my xmas budget tied up in those items. I should have made a stink then but I didn't, I just saved the gifts for upcoming birthdays. 3 months ago I placed a two item order and after my initial emailed invoice I received no status updates regarding my order. A month goes by then two, and I begin emailing BtR to find out what was up with the order. I only got auto responses from BtR until I got nasty and threatened to call my cc company and let them deal with it. I then received the only response that I would ever get from them stating that they would refund my money in 4 business days.     AH! I totally agree. My first few orders went great, a little SLOW to ship especially for the shipping price.. however it is now NOVEMBER and I still have outstanding orders from JULY . I have called and emailed to ask WHAT my orders are that is outstanding since there are a few like that and I just got the response ''check your email confirmation from that date''....thanks.... ALSO they don't update your order history, alot of stuff I have ordered I received but it still says ''pending'' when I log in... so it gets confusing what they still owe me!! My last concern is their ''designer bags'' I ALMOST purchased a 400$(valued @ 900$) D&G evening bag but when I googled the collection/bag name I couldn't find anything even close to that bag that existed , same with a few other ''cheaper'' bags...some are 400$ and some are 1200$! are the 400$ bags just knock offs??!!!?     THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I ORDERED ON 10/4. AS OF 10/28, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING. I CANCELED MY ORDER AND WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. I WILL BE SURPRISED IF I EVER RECEIVE A REFUND. HAD I CHECKED REVIEWS BEFORE I ORDERD, I WOULD NOT BE IN THIS SITUATION.     I will never shop here again. Their customer service is awful, shipping takes ages and they charge you immediately when you place your order. They never update you on the status of your order and if you are short-shipped, they won't refund you unless you get in touch with them and demand it. I placed an order with them in August and my credit card was charged immediately, but I only received one of the two items I ordered. The same happened with another order of mine. I sent numerous emails to cancel the remaining items from my orders, but they never replied. Only recently I was able to reach them by phone and ask for cancellation. It's almost November, but I'm still waiting for the refund.

    I've been a member for about 6 months now and my first few orders were shipped (although it took over a month to receive the stock and no one answered my emails). The past 3 months have been excruciating! I am still disputing an item I ordered in the month of august and have never received. They charge your credit card instantly yet they leave you hanging for months sometimes before you receive anything and if something is no longer in stock then you'd better be prepared to make countless phone calls because they will never send an email letting you know. I have never seen a company so badly managed! Do not use this website! Their prices aren't even that good, when you add in the shipping you pay pretty much what you would pay in store.

    I should have researched this company before ordering I ordered an $800 burberry bag the company immediately charged my card and sent me an email stating they would email me when my item was shipped I knew beforehand it would be 2-3 wks before getting the item but 6 weeks later still no email. thats when I found all these complaints about no delivery , shoddy products, and diffiiculty getting money back or getting only store credit. I called the company who agreed I should have already received the item and stated they would contact me the next day, which surprise surprise, i did not get any word from them I then shot off an email to the company then immediately contacted my credit card company who credited my account I am glad I didnt wait as my credit card has a 90 day limit to dispute charges Weeks l ater the company has the nerve to write me that the item wasnt available and they were going to recredit my account Guess they didnt know I already got my m...     I've been a member of BTR for three months now and have yet to find anything that I would buy. The quality of the clothing looks to be just below Zellers cheapest. Most of the 'designer' items are bags, sunglasses and $100 key chains. I've never heard of the most of the designer names. I'll give it another months and then probably unsubscribe. 0 stars

    Would have given it 0 stars! Ordered an Ed Hardy purse for my daughter's birthday in August. 2 Weeks ago (October 1st) they said that they couldn't complete the order because of an error. They gave me choices that I didn't want, but did because it was a gift. Today they say that they will refund my money because they can't fill the new order either. DO NOT ORDR FROM THESE PEOPLE! There's nothing good about them out there...Still waiting for my refund......

    BEWARE!! I ordered my item in early September and still have not received it! It's been over 5 weeks and when I called, they just found out that my item was on backorder and said they have no idea when it will be in stock to ship. Sounds like this company has many excuses for their delayed shipping and returns and it seems they are always blaming the vendors. There are so many other flash sale web sites that are committed to their customers and provide great service with reasonable shipping. I will not waste my time with this company again. Hopefully I will get my item this month, but I am not going to bet on it! I recommend to look beyond the rack! With this company, you get what you pay for.

    I will never use Beyond the Rack again. Ordered a pair of shorts in May, they did not arrive till Mid July. Said they had a problem with customs. Ordered a pair of sunglasses for $125.00, only took a few weeks to get but did not like them and sent them back with the pre paid shipping label they provided. Been a month and Beyond the Rack claims they could not find my return and would get back with me. Gave me the same run around for over two weeks evertime I called them and asked questions. I fought the charge with my bank and won my claim and got my money back. Beware of this site.

    I have placed several orders with Beyond the Rack and really like them. They specifically tell you on their site that shipping is at least 3 weeks out, so I don’t even expect my merchandise for at least 4 weeks out. They have ALWAYS shipped my merchandise FedEx for Saturday delivery, so I am always home to receive my items. The quality of the items I have purchased is no different than what I would have paid more for at my local retailer. With my last order there was an issue with their supplier. BTR sent me several emails regarding the status of my order and kept me up to date. I like them, I refer my family and friends to them and I will continue to use them. If you read their site and don’t mind waiting about a month for your products, then it’s a great deal on some nice merchandise.
