Outstanding. Great body too . The more I see her the more she turns me on. If you have seen her subing on AM on CNN where you can get a good look at her legs, NICE REAL NICE! She has the sexist smile on TV News. Just do not see enough of her. I would love to see her in well, NOTHING. Actually, since she so on the AM show, I enjoy her all the more! Sitting on that sofa in those tight short skirts! The more I see of her the more I like CNN.

By CNN removing Carol from from an anchor position goes to why that net work is struggling with ratings. Carol is smart, witty, pretty and does not come across that she is more important than the news. She is the best I have ever seen interviewing perjorative personalities. And for whatever it is worth, she looks as good in a short skirt as any of the anchor babes.

Hey, who put my mom on TV? I can't believe Costello has the #1 spot here. When I turn on the news in the morning, I need something more than friendly breakfast-table banter. And if I wanted to see idiots jabbering around a table in the morning I would turn on Fox & Friends or Mike & Mike in the Morning. Luckily Costello hasn't descended to that low, but those apologetic "Just Sayin'" segments are just as irritating. In these segments, deep issues like "Is affirmative action still necessary?" and "Is feminism obsolete?" are treated as though they were in big noncommittal scare quotes. What will the future topics be? "Is Obama a big racist? Just sayin'. Are the Jews really responsible for the banking crisis? Just sayin'. Do people deserve to get AIDS? Just sayin'." If you want to say something and you think you need to apologize for it ahead of time, maybe you should think twice about saying it.

Here's a reporter who is definitely not a talking head. I find her interesting, bright, articulate and very easy on the eye. I watch CNN alot and I find the vast majority of reporters to be so neutral and non-descript that their story suffers from it. Not so with Ms. Costello.

What's wrong with this woman? In her interview with Ed Koch shown 9/12/08 she took offense with Ed Koch's description of Sara Palin as being "perky". It made her look as if she either had a poor grasp of English, or was exhibiting a hypersensitive Republican bias, or both. She then took issue with Koch when he quoted a New York times article which reported on Palin's inquiry of her local librarian as to how one went about removing a book from the local library. She sounded like a hack repeating Republican talking points.

Snarky, self-rightious, mean-spirited example of what's wrong with tv media. Thinks it's OK to make fun of actresses when they gain a few pounds (jennifer L. Hewitt). Encourages anorexia and its horrors. Contributor to mean-spirited American disrespect. I really want to make a nasty comment on HER physical appearance, but then I'd be joining her down in the mud. This kind of media is turning ME into a nasty, foul-mouthed, dis-respecter of human beings. And, you're right, I'm no longer the young healthy person I once was, so I guess I'm worthless too.

Carol is a great newscaster and anchor - CNN made a huge mistake when it took her and DayBreak off the air. I stopped watching CNN in the mornings since she is not on the air, but do try to catch her on the Situaiton Room. CNN needs to give her more air time; she is definitely worthy of her own show. Love her opinions - she reports the news as it is and if she interjects her opinions so what, it is what most of us are thinking anyway.

CNN needs to give Carol Costello, Paula Zahns time slot. Now that would be a great program! Carol is absolutely gorgeous and one of the best thinkers on her feet in the news business. If you are looking very attractive, for hip, smart and well rounded, look no further, and her style of injecting a little opinion and emotion in her work just makes her human like the rest of us. I may not always agree, but I like that she has done her own thinking. C'mon CNN stop killing us with Zahn as soon as her contract is up! Give Carol a shot!

Well, I see that Carol has alot of fans here and I agree to some degree that Carol was very different than many of the news anchors, but that is probably why CNN probably moved her to a less assessible time slot. One thing that bothered me about Carol is that she voiced her opinions and was biased with some of the news she reported. CNN is very conservative and probably viewed Carol as a liability. She is probably better off with FOX News where she can voice her opinion more liberally. I have been watchin Carol since she was our local news anchor on channel 7 in the DC area. She was my favorite there. It was great to see her chirpy self there. But I think that she was naive to think that she could bring that personality to national sindicated news. I know, that is probably why CNN brought her, but they probably took heat for it as well. Well wishes to you Carol, wherever you end up. :)

I enjoyed Carol's down-to-earth style and her ability to make me feel that I had just stepped into her home to hear the news. Too many anchors sound like robots in their efforts to be professional. Bring her back! Where is she now?

CNN has made a number of mistakes around their choices of who delivers the news. The latest blunder has been moving Ms. Costello to a lesser accessible timeslot. Would not have been more prudent, from a strictly news reporting context, to move the soft and slushy O'Brien couple to a late night spot, or better yet the Food Network? Has Carol gone the way of Hemmer and Kagan? If so, the credibility of CNN as an objective reporter of news to the educated has suffered another blow at the hands of mediocrity.

I know Carol. I went to school with her. She is down to earth, a people person. She was never, and still isn't, stuck on herself and always friendly. She treats everyone the way she wanted/wants to be treated. I guess people at cnn are looking more for someone who has there nose so far up in the air they can smell the dirt on the top of the Empire State building and has no time for us "little" people. I would rather see someone on tv that is down to earth than someone who thinks they're better than me. Maybe she did giggle and joke around, but it was fun and it's real!!! I like real people, not fake wanna-be's, I hope I'm not alone. My point, bring her back, Fox news isn't crowded!!!!

Carol is intelligent and able to report the news with a refreshing amount of empathy, subtle emotion and humanity. She was the perfect early morning news personality. Her interaction with Chad Meyers was pleasant in the morning. Although the O'Brians are good anchors, it would be nice to take a break from them and have Carol do more air time. She is notably missed.

As a Canadian viewer I find Carol Costello to be out of her element in this venue. Reading the news from a prompoter is fine but any kind of impromptu knowledgeable answers to serious questions (like the time she was covering the hurricane) stumps her. Giggling, making bad jokes, giving indulgent, emotional observations are annoying to anyone who is trying to get a balanced, intelligent viewpoint of the news. Is she married to the producer? Please Carol, go to journalist school and work for a few years in the field, maybe then we can see you in Soledad's place.

Carol Costello is the best. Maybe she doesn't seek the primary role, but, in my opinion, she does a fantastic job, and is better suited than those she's always filling in for. She is skilled, professional, dignified, likeable, and seems like a really cool lady.

I really enjoyed watching Carol in the mornings when she was the anchor. I wasn't crazy about her gushing over Chad the weather stiff though. I hardly get to see her now, but when she does appear it's refreshing to get away from the O'Brien's. I look at the local news in the mornings more often now.

well, I really can't comment much about carol's CNN experience, but, in any case, she should be one of CNN's featured personalities (get that old frog larry king off the air and make carol a prime-time personality) I interned for carol at wjla-tv in dc in 1999, and I learned a lot from her but probably would have learned a lot more if I wasn't so smitten with her. as another writer to this site put it, she is just achingly beautiful, with great legs, great everything (she wears those miniskirts well, doesn't she?) hey, back off about her smile, though!

    # 1 in my mind. Witty and a great marathon runner. And it does not hurt to be good looking. I no longer watch CNN in morning since the demotion of Carol Costello. This has also reduced my CNN time to the odd minite or so during channel changing.

Why did they get rid of her ? Are her and Soledad Cat fighting ? you can never trust those former network women like Paula Zahan and Soledad Obrien, they will backstab you any chance they get !I met Carol at the Annapolis State house when she was an anchor for WBAL TV Her teeth are crooked she needs braces, she was wearing a mini skirt just above the knees, she has some very sexy legs and she is striking when you 1st see her in person.

Bring Carol Back! Carol is why i watched CNN in the morning. Carol is intelligent, insightful, probing -- yet gracious. She has a wonderful sense of humour, style and timing. And above all she treats her interviews and coworkers with a sense of collegiality (unlike her hard-edged and often rude replacement). I really miss the Carol/Chad team in the morning, and ask CNN to reconsider. Their incessant shuffling of anchors and programming has me ready to switch stations.

She was not my cup of tea and its a good thing that CNN ended her career of flippant anti-intellectualism. She was a very attractive woman who sometimes lacked the judgment, timing, self-control, maturity, personal finesse and intellect of all the other anchors on national television. She chose to act like a stereotypical bimbo instead of being the journalist she was capable of and, no, I will not miss her incessant giggling or her daily dumb act with Chad. The lesson to be learned here is acting intelligently gets you much farther in life then acting stupid and there is no better example of this then observing what happened to Carol Costello.

Carol Costello provided me with a great start to my day! She is very down to earth - came across as not only confident but appeared to enjoy what she did. Carol's presentation was refreshing as she appeared involved in what she said. She was not the stoic/reserved/stuffy type...which wake-up time I didn't need to hear - hear that all the rest of the day. She & Chad were a great team - brought across a friendly atmosphere - with good comments/open reaction to things. Obviously some feel this was "unprofessional" - I, in fact, feel she is refreshing! I miss her - and certainly hope she is not buried somewhere with token spots.
