The shows got class. Not class as in Queen Elizabeth class, but the type of class that makes me actually want to pretend to care about sciense.  Honestly the story line is exquisite, every episode is jam packed with drama, suspense, provocativity, and humor. I honestly idol some of the characters on this show.  The show isn't only about wacky turn of events created by the writers, it also has current events expertly intertwined within every episode.  This show clearly carries FX in a sense that most viewers can't even name any of the other original series'.  Known as the most provocative show on television.  Nip/Tuck has a cliff hanger at the end of every episode, which keeps you hooked like Lohan on cocain, and like Lohan you always end up relapsing every season for more.

I love this show...it started out a little slow this season with them moving to LA, but has been improving as the season goes on.  I wondered how they were going to follow up last season's gangster ending...but surprise!  Now they are in LA and on the reality tv bandwagon.  I love the soap opera aspect as well!  Dallas was NEVER this funny!!!

Was a big fan the first season, but the "Slasher" storyline and the son who bears a freaky resemblence to Michael Jackson lost me last year. Gave up on it. Too bad.

This show is excellent. None of the 13 episodes contain a dull moment. Although this season was a bit weaker then the seasons of the past, it is still an amazing show.

OK! Even though this show is very close to soft porn, I find it very likable. There is always a surprise on this show whether it's guest star or twisted concept or excess of sexuality. At least, this show is better than tons and tons of reality shows that became like a flu.

Extremely far-fetched, yet entertaining show. All the different twists in the story seem too much to be happening to one group of people. However, the writing finds creative ways to continue using plastic surgery in a drama. With all of the good looking women on the show though, I wish it was being produced on HBO. An uncensored version of this show would REALLY be fun to watch.

I definitely agree with you on this one genghis the hun, I would rate it right up there with Desperate Housewives, which sounds like the name of a pornographic site!

This show really should be on HBO or other premium cable channel due to his subject material and direction. That being said, it deals with the ever present issue of beauty and appearance in our society, usually from both viewpoints.

Ooooh baby ... An instant addiction from Episode 1 ... Very very complex characters who step outside their own self-imposed boxes on a regular basis, keeping us on the edge of our seats and never sure what they're going to do next!

Very innovative and award worthy! Warner is putting this series out on DVD and I will be the first in line to order my copy- if you don't see the art within this series then go back to your sci-fi junk that would NEVER happen in a million years! I do reccomend a strong stomach for the show, but hey- you have to have a strong stomach for real life! Not recommended for minors which is why it comes on so late. One of the best shows on tv!

I absolutely love the show and the stories it depicts. Its nice to ba able to sit down as an adult and watch an adult show.I don't think the writers should change a thing.

Slick drama, funny in places. At first you believe if to be superficial but it opens up a taboo subject of plastic surgery. Doesn't hold back with the graphic surgey scenes though!

The latest target of the Parents Television Council and with VERY good reason. I gave this show a shot and managed to stomach an entire episode, and I just barely made it. I was so happy to return to something innocent, clever, imaginative and brilliant (like Star Trek: Voyager, Frasier, or Pokemon) that you just cannot imagine. But, let me explain why. Nip/Tuck is another example of how the FX station is falling into the sewer pits. Like the amoral 'The Shield', 'Nip/Tuck' is a cess pool of graphic violence, profanity, crass sexual content, rude attitudes, pessimsim and bad drama. Not to mention terrible acting and insanely-dark plots. The show features lots of surgery scenes, with what seems like gallons of blood. Certainly not something you want to watch while eating. Profanity is everywhere, with everything but the FCC-word (well, they won't stop it, now will they?) present. The plots feature such things as the mother (!!!!) in a family mutilating and animal and a son circumcizing ... Read more

I agree that this show may have very different opinions. As the writer i can see why the show didm't start off too well. We soon realised the rather exposing sex scenes turned a number of viewers away. I hope that you saw the change we implemented, with a dramatic decrease in the number of sex scenes. I don't always write for the show but I have found my main addiction is Julian, and in person whoa!

Very addicting show with a great cast and terrific writing. The show isn't afraid to tackle anything and I applaud them for it. Some of the sexual scenes are a bit extreme, but hey it is for adults. I even like that there is some humor to it. It's one of the best shows on television.

I can't decide if I really like this show or not. There doesn't seem to be a lot of substance to the characters, they all seem so shallow. It's more like watching soft core porn than a television program. What is it with the shock technique. I am not shocked to see a bare butt, in fact you can see them on almost every station. What I want is a program that you can really get into, where you can trade places with one of the characters or really care about what happens to them. Like I said, I am still not too sure about this one.

Nip/Tuck is the best show on tv. FX have really done themselves proud on this one. Sure some scenes are gory, and quite rude in parts. But that just adds to the realism in my opinion. Can`t wait to see season 2 in 2004. Long may it reign

Without a doubt one of the best shows I have *ever* seen on television. It just gets better every week. The story concepts are a tad over the top, but very believable and in my opinion realistic of some of the issues these guys would face in the world in which they live. Very well written, very well acted, and very well directed. Just all around a really great show that each week has me looking forward to the next, and has me catching myself holding my breath as the show plays out week after week. Definitely a must see - you'll be hooked.

I am actually embarrassed to admit that I absolutely love this show. Its comical at times & serious the next. The story lines are "soap operaish" but its a great escape for me. The surgery scenes and the sex scenes are quite explicit especially for television, but it doesn't bother me. If you are squeamish you might want to turn your head during the surgery clips. All in all its a DIFFERENT and great show!
