1 yr with my G35 coupe, 2004.  pretty fast, loves the top end and stays low and steady @ +140mph.  Tint the windows and tune out everything but the road.  Very enjoyable ride and people tell me all the time how much they like it.  I do too.

2007 G35 Sedan This car is very comfortable. It has a decent ride and moves when you push the peddal. I installed a dual intake and the car sounds mean. The cabin is very nice and cleanly layed out. It's not the best car in the world but for the money you get a pretty good deal. Overall 4.0

A very good effort from Infinity to be followed by the excellent M class series. A good alternative to the German luxury sport sedans but lacks the refinement of Audi and Mercedes.

The 3 Series is really only getting better because of this car, BMW could have left the 3 series as it is and still have beaten Audi and Toyota without doing anything really, this is the only car that's giving the king of the Luxury Sports Car a run for its money. Nissan combined luxury, performance, comfort, value, and some of the best looking style to grace a car since Aston Martin, to make the guys at Bimmer sweat. And it shows in the new gen of the 3 Series and the new G37, both cars have just outclassed each other and the competitors. Either way you pick I don't think you would be dissapointed.

I have had my G35 for 2 years and I love my car. I have driven several cars in its genre (Lexus IS, BMW 3 series, Audi A4) and have found the G35 to be amazing. It handles excellent, great acceleration, the suspension is just hard enough to feel the road. I have had absolutely no problems with the car during these two years. I do have some minor issues with the car: 1. Gas mileage way below what they claim it to be. 2. The stick shift is not as smooth as I would like it to be.

Bought the 2005 Inf G35 4 door brand new with eleven miles on the car. Drives great, very comfortable interior. However, rotors needed to be "repaired " right away. A few months later they needed a full replacement in the front only (so I was told). Now at 23K miles, I need them worked on again. Think twice and do more homework about G35 maintenance needs before you buy.

Simple and timeless design - a great grand touring car! Superb steering feel, lots of torque down low - no peakiness in the engine.

I purchased my G35 a few months after they were introduced in 2002.. Brakes had to be replaced the first time just under 30,000 miles and hence were covered by warranty. Nissan actually had a recall that extended the warranty on the brakes to 36,000 miles. My car now has 55,000 miles on it, and I was just told both the brakes & rotors need to be replaced. While it's a great car in many respects, I would not buy one again because of this. If you're thinking of buying one, be prepared to replace the brakes every 30,000 miles assuming normal usage. I can't imagine how frequently they would have to be replaced if you're one of those folks I hate driving behind who ride their brakes constantly!

2004 Coupe 6MT Pros: power, style, comfort, speed, stereo, value Cons: 2nd gear grinds, windows are noisy when rolling up/down, sunroof makes rubber against glass noise when closed, cheap fit and finish. Consclusion: A great car that needs a few minor touch ups.

Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe: best-looking car on the road, hands-down, especially with the factory 18 alloy wheels. Great engine. If only Infiniti could improve the build quality which suffers from Nissan's cost-cutting: power windows are famous for going crazy, paint scratches so easily it almost seemingly scratches just by looking at it, interior quality needs improvement, stereo is tied into climate controls making it hard to upgrade, ugly amber instumentation (blue would be much better), often has balky 6-speed manual transmission. Infiniti's color choices are odd: for 2005 they dropped the twilight blue and added BEIGE! Who wants a BEIGE sports coupe???? Infiniti's dealers are mostly scumbags too.

I have been the proud owner of a G35 for five months now and I look forward to driving my car more and more each day. I love the look, feel, and power of the car. All this and it does bouble duty as my dailer driver. I consider this a serious upgrade from my BMW 3.

Very good value, surprisingly good performance on and off track. Brembos, (soon to be) 295hp, 19 forged light weight wheels, world class quality/reliability/customer service LSD and a luxurious interior all for $32k? Wow~

Tons of powers, gobs of torque, sweet exhaust note, butter smooth brakes, ungodly handling, killer looks, reliability, and the same price as a VR-4 3000GT back in 1991? This car totally rocks and is the steal of the century.

Without a doubt, the G35 is a great car. BUT.....it isnt THE best. I think quite a few of the other cars in the comparison are better and more exotic. It still deserves 4 stars, but its not a 5 star car in this comparo.

We have had a 5 speed automatic G35 Coupe for 2 months now. Our first decadent car - and it is a thrill each time just to look at it, to hear that engine growl, and to feel the effortless command of the road. Believe every good thing you read about this car, folks. It is a ball to drive - fiercely quick, handles like nobody's business, brakes unbelievable, effortless passing at any speed. Quality build- feels like a tank, excellent warranties, great dealer network. Another plus - with snows all around, this rear wheel drive car is a champ in the snow. Minuses - rear seat has VERY low headroom. Anyone over 5'6 tall will be at the roofline when sitting fully erect. Slumping required if 4 in the car. Very comfortable for 3, however. Seatbealts a bit difficult to reach. Driver's seat very comfortable, but doesn't recline quite enough for my tastes. Overall: Completely thrilled. Makes going to the store for milk fun - what more need be said?

I've had an 04 G35 Coupe for several months and have found it to be a great car for me. I don't need space to haul things, I am neither tall nor heavy, I sought a comfortable but not plush vehicle that is stylish, handles very well and is very quick. So it really meets my needs and I love driving it. This is not a car for many folks as it is somewhat limited purpose. I have, and you need, to have other cars to do other things. But, that is true of most sporty vehicles that approach this class, and you will find no better value.

i have owned both the g35 coupe and the g35 sedan. the coupe, imo, is a porsche 911 equivalent for a fraction of the cost. it is a beautiful car with outstanding performance characteristics. the only thing i can ding it on is the interior finish (the fake titanium coating on top of the plastic, puh-leeze). the sedan... just great. the handling is a come-down from the coupe, but only by a hair. it's outstanding for a sports sedan. rocket fast (bizarrely, the auto sedan feels faster than the auto coupe), brakes on a dime, and rides comfortably. there's a lot to like w/both cars and they're both great values.

My G35 coupe has been everything I had hoped it to be. There are minor problems but that's to be expected. It is THE perfect car for me and I've been just loving it! Last weekend I slid off a mountain road, over an embankment and into the trees after hitting ice on a curve. My G35 took every bit of damage and I walked away totally unscathed. Safetywise as well, I couldn't recommend this car more. If mine is totalled by the insurance company, I'm without a doubt going to be back in line to order another.

The build quality is excellent. This car has the power, the control, the looks, and the attitude to command respect whether you're coming at it from an engineering or emotional point of view. The acceleration and handling are awesome. I now prefer to take the highways instead of the interstate on trips. My one regret is that in October of 2002 I bought the 2003 G35C 5AT (loaded). Should have gotten the 6MT... I have not found another car I would rather drive for less than $55K.

The G35 coupe is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. To me it has some hints of the ferrari 360 modena for a mere 30'000(roughly). Compared to its competitors (BMW 3-series, Acura TL TYPE-S, Lexus IS300,SAAB 93 etc) the G35 litteraly takes the lead of the pack. The G35 definently wasn't a me-too kind of car for infiniti it was the car to blow all the other cars in it's class out of the water. The BMW comes in at a close second :O and for those of you who are going to say Yeah, well a Mclaren F1 is better it is, but the G35 also doesn't cost 1million$ like the Mclaren, don't get me wrong I love the Mclaren but we got to think reasonably here.

The G35 has exceeded all of my expectations in a car. Granted, it does have some first year troubles (minor rattles and squeaks), but it has been relatively trouble free for the 16,000 miles that I have owned it. The performance of this car is amazing. The only other car that I can compare it to is a 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo. They both have the same handling 'feel'. They feel like they are on rails. The G35 is a little low on power in comparison, but is still relatively quick in its own respects. With all the other choices out there in the same category (BMW 330ci, Acura TL Type-S, Lexus IS300, etc) I feel the Infiniti takes the best of all these cars and puts them into one. The performance and handling of the 330ci (minus about $5000) and the IS300, the ride comfort and build quality of the Acura, and then added a little of their own flair with a beautiful exterior that no other car can rival (except a few Ferrari's). If I had to do it all over again, I would, without a d... Read more
