I don't know actually. I had an old feud with her in 2004, but we've made up. That GoneAway was bigoted and judgemental. Would I like to meet the newer Goneaway...perhaps. I agree with her on more things than I did back in the day (surprisingly). It seems strange that she's dissappeared completely off the site.

I would love to meet her in real life. We became very good friends on RIA and we have a lot in common. In fact apart from Donovan and Solenoid DH, she would be my favourite person I'd like to meet. She is a lovely person. Only bad people hate or dislike GoneAway. I say that not to be inflammatory but because there is some scum bag who gave her a hard time. They don't know who they are dealing with - they are dealing with one of the most well liked RIA reviewers. To me, that is as stupid as trying to get the queen bee out of a bee hive with your bare hands. All the worker bees would attack you relentlessly. If I don't meet her on earth, I shall surely meet her in heaven.

We initially shared some views on femanism that made me gravitate to her immediatly. From there she has become the only true friend on the site I have made. Admittedly, I dont like many people at first. Its just my nature. She is a southern lady through and through. A true belle. I respect her outlook on everything and would love to meet her and her husband. He has got to be a swell guy to have found such a great lady.

She seems like a very sweet person. I think she would be a great person to have a conversation with.

Sure. She and I don't exactly sing in the same choir, but our senses of humor aren't far apart, and she's certainly got a brain in her head. I'd be delighted.

Definitly Goneaway. We could cook up a good meal, eat and then I would just love to hear her read from the bible and learn. I don't doubt that she would be the perfect example of Southern Hospitality.

UPDATE: Just a though magellan, but I think, if we were very honest with ourselves, we would realize that we all usually fall somewhere in the middle. Even people who think they've cornered the market on ill treatment and, in some cases, have even declared themselves professional victims have their own prejudged opinions too. If you don't believe me, then take a look at that blatantly bigoted Boondocks cartoon the other day. It may have seemed mild, but I personally found it insulting and backward if not a bit disturbing. Maybe one of our worst traits as human beings is the tendency to misconstrue the message when we dont hear it expressed with the approved catch phrase or the person is from another generation or background. I know Ive been guilty of this; was guilty of it with GoneAway at first. Our main stumbling block turned out to be that we both tend to fire up really fast and passionate beliefs can appear to be hate and discontent. Which is not to say that we still dont some... GoneAway has been nothing but sweet and nice to me for the past few months. In fact, she has put on an online clinic of how to make friends and influence people. But I have to say that I'm still a little rattled by the GoneAway that first appeared on the site. That GoneAway was pretty harsh, pretty judgmental, and pretty damning of folks different than her. I much prefer the more recent GA. I guess the real GA is somewhere in between.

I would really enjoy meeting Gone in person. It's strange but I feel like I already have, and we've never been closer than 1,000 miles. It would be funny, we'd be joking and laughing and reminiscing and someone would ask, how long have you known each other, you seem like old friends. We'd answer, about 5 minutes.

GoneAway is the kind of person I'd really feel at ease with -- I'd probably enjoy having an occasional ladies' afternoon of tea with GA; laughing, joking, and talking girl-talk with her and the other women of RIA.

GA was one of the first people I chatted with on here and is really just an absolutely nice individual. I'd be up for some of that Georgian hospitality:-)
