I hate this place, feels like your watching baseball in a hanger or a warehouse.

Once inside this place was pretty good. The outside was so ugly, but who wants to stay outside there anyway. It was 114 outside and 82 inside. Best scoreboard I've seen with great info on it. Lots of color and stuff to look at. I like the old timely dirt track to the pitcher's mound. The pool seems very gimmicky and it appeared to me that the group renting it for the night could only be in it for a few innings. There are some very cheap seats available and they are very far away from most of the game. But, it is the only Major league baseball around for hundreds of miles and it was fun to see a game there.

Not a spectacular or even old school design, but decent sightlines, and cooler than I`d have expected in that disgusting Arizona heat. The swimming pool in the outfield is intriguing, but frankly I`d be scared to get into a tub of water in Arizona in August at the risk of becoming soup. Sightlines good, food ok, beer lousy, staff above average.

I saw the inside of this park recently when I visited Phoenix. It is truly impressive, and an attractive looking venue to see a ballgame. To help counteract the severe Arizona heat, the walls of the stadium are high creating a maximum amount of shade that hangs over the field and the stands. It is a genuinely impressive structure.

I was there in their second season. Team was bad but the stadium is nice. Had to have a roof, summer in PHX. is ridiculous. Guy puked behind me but other than that it was a good time. Pool is cool.

Good new stadium, it has a pool that costs a ton of money to use, but I wouldn't call this a great stadium.

Hey, our team may suck, but we got a SWIMMING POOL in right-center. Beat that.

Beautiful ballpark, the seats are very comfortable, the pool is awesome too. The retractable roof if the highlight of the stadium the way it opens and closes. The food was good and so was the atmosphere, parking is easy and cheap, and game tickets were reasonable no complaints here. 5 all the way!

The "BOB" is not a very good baseball park. Some key charactoristics, a roof,ad windows, air conditioning, pool, spa, and a blareing sound system, make this place seem more like a mini-mall. And don't forget the steep and expensive upper deck seats.

I've been to BOB many times, the roof and the pool kick ass, and the food is great :)

I really, really liked this ballpark. It was air condishioned, which was absolutely lovely. And as was mentioned before, it has better food than most ballparks. It had a very clean and cozy feel about it. And you were able to see the players pretty well (Good thing in Luis Gonzalez's case, bad in Randy Johnson's.) I had a great time there, even though the Diamondbacks lost when I came. If ever I was in Arizona again, I'd defiently pay the BOB another visit.

The BOB, is a strangely configured stadium with a circus atmosphere. I found myself equally entertained by the game as by the antics in the pool area. The food was easily accessible and not only your usual baseball fare. The tickets were pretty reasonable and fairly easy to get. Parking was easy and relatively inexpensive, the weather was great and the ball park was interesting. I would visit again if in the area.

Great atmosphere, saw K. Brown pitch as a Padre the year they went to the WS. $$$ Brews, but that is expected. Lots of beautiful women also. Temps weren't bad either.

If anyone is interested in reading a great book about this ball park and the creation of the Diamondbacks, pick up a copy of BIG LEAGUE, BIG TIME, by Len Sherman. It's a great look into the billion dollar business of professional baseball and the creation of a franchise - specifically the Diamondbacks and BOB. Available on Amazon.com.

If you have not seen this stadium, you are missing something. A dream of a ball park with the feeling of an old time stadium with all of the amenities that anyone could ask for. A must see for all.
