I recently had a bit of an urgent situation in which I needed a large armoire (floor model) moved in one afternoon. Movage was recommended by the store clerk and thankfully they worked me into their schedule. The guys were at the store within one hour and a half. The movers themselves very friendly and great at what they do. I have already recommended them to two of my friends. Great price too.

Movage moving moved my fiancé from New Jersey to New York with an extra stop in our storage in NJ. As I am sure you understand, choosing a mover that is reliable and responsible is very important, and after hearing moving disaster stories, I could have picked one of the larger and better know movers, but I chose Movage. I made my decision after I saw how well Juan moved a glass wall unit from my apartment in NYC to Brooklyn for another customer that I sold the wall unit to. After they moved the wall unit I called Movage and asked for Juan to move me. I spoke to Christian, and he insured me that all of the movers were professionals, and the move would go very smoothly. Let me begin by saying my moving experience with Movage Moving was EXCEPTIONAL. I am a woman alone who is almost 70 years old and was leaving the residence where I had lived for more than 35 years to start over in a part of the country, in a town where I did not know anyone, and from the very first interview, Movage Moving treated me with the greatest respect and never once tried to take advantage of my vulnerability as a woman; as a senior citizen, or as a woman alone. Quite the contrary, because I was a senior citizen, a woman and a woman alone, the staff did everything they could to assure that my move would go smoothly -- and it did. After interviewing more than 40-50 moving companies which in and of itself was a nightmare, I finally narrowed my choice down to three, and even gave a $200 deposit to one, and actually was requested to pay the second one $2100 in full. From the first phone call to the departure of the movers, my experience with Movage, Inc. was seamless, sweat less, and stress-free. I called several moving companies to get quotes; however, Movage got my business. Primarily because of the very fair price, but the friendliness, knowledge, and excellent customer skills of Christian played a huge role too. He instantly made me feel at ease by explaining all that the move would entail. Not so with the other companies I called. Well, the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree because the movers were some of the nicest people. They arrived 10 minutes early and worked swiftly and efficiently. These were no amateurs! Thank you Movage, Christian in particular, so much for your assistance with my emergency move. Juan and his crew were extremely polite and they knew exactly what needed to be done and were very knowledgeable, organized and efficient. The team had to pack ABSOLUTELY everything for me which is not the most cost-effective way to do things. However, I had no option since I had no time on my side. Since I had no time to pack it myself, in the future to save money I might pack my own kitchen and library, but if you can afford it I certainly recommend it. No matter what my moving needs are next time, Movage will be my first and only choice.
