I used Advantage to help move my brother into his new apartment. They did a good job and everything was transported safely. Estimate was very accurate. I recommend them to anyone who needs a mover.

I use Advantage to move my mom from NYC to my home in NC i was giving a price of 3500.00 and i to ild would recive her goods 14 hours after loading in NY i was getting prices 4300.00 to 5000.00 for the same service from other movers i check them out with the Better Bussiness And DOT they had no complants on there record.I am gladi pick them the men were very nice to my mom and they unloaded the truck 13 hours later I paid the foreman 3500.00 and they did not ask for a tip but i tip them anyway for the good service i recived.

THEY LOST 3 OF MY BOXES, YELLED AT ME AND USED PROFANITY. THIS MOVING COMPANY IS UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOUDL NEVER LET THEM INTO MY HOME AGAIN

The move was wonderful! The movers showed up even before I arrived. They came in, and quickly got everything moved out and into the truck. Once we got to my place, they did the same and got everything in my apartment and set up in a matter of minutes! The guys were all extremely friendly and helpful, and were patient with all my worries about the items not fitting through my door. They were so efficient that the person I was buying my items from asked for their services for her move! I would definitely recommend Advantage Movers to anyone and I will definitely use them in any future moves I have.

I was extremely happy with the services which were provided to me on a short notice. They were reliable on time and hassle-free. I must say the staff was pleasant and willing to go the extra mile. It is a pleasure to do business with a company who has the interest of the customers and not their own first. Ok, I don't know where to start, but PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK THEM. My new Room & Board bed got completely wrecked I'm enclosing the link to the flickr album detailing damages. The movers failed to wrap a lot of the furniture and I specifically asked them to wrap my antique coffee table, and the bed/dresser. They did with the dresser, didn't with the bed and I have never seen damage THIS BAD. They were going to carry my couch out unwrapped too, until I yelled at them and asked them to wrap it. Still, didn't realize the damage UNTIL I paid them - HUGE mistake because now they refuse to compensate me for the bed. Vinnie hung up on me twice when I tried to explain the problem. They lost my mirror along the way, took a door off a cabinet, scratched up my new floors and dented my entertainment center in addition to scratching the coffee table. Copying what I'd written directly to Vinnie after a last-minute move: Vinnie, Just wanted to say thanks for the move to/from Catskills yesterday. You and your guys (Tek and I didn't get the other guy's name, unfortunately) were very responsive and efficient. If we need such services again, we'll definitely contact you.

Advantage movers were stellar! They were the cheapest, provided FREE boxes prior to my move and showed up on time - early even. They called to confirm the day before the move and provided the certificate of insurance for my new building FREE. i called 5 other places before Advantage. These guys (3 of them with a 26 ft truck) cleared out my 1 bedroom apt in Pelham Bay in under 1 hour, drove to my new place in Manhattan and unloaded everything (elevator building) in under 3 hours. They were amazing and ultra professional. They explained all of the paperwork that I signed and let me walk through the truck after the move was completed to make sure nothing was left behind. They put together my furniture that had to be taken apart for the move and wrapped my paintings too. They placed each box/item in the correct room in the new apartment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I found the owner vinnie to be quite helpful and when i needed a move late he sure didnt care. best movers for that reason alone. they were priced right too!

I call Advantage Movers when the movers i booked did not show up to move me on aug 31 i had call 10 other movers they were booked I was going to lose my deposit of 1500.00 if i did not move out by 8 am on sept 1. I spoke Vinnie in the office and he told me he could help me but he could not get to me till 2 am i said to him no moving company going at 2 am he said the new york daliy news worte a story about him moving people 24/7.Well they came at 1 30 am with 5 men and he only charge me for 4 all i can say is That Guy Vinnie The Mover Came When I Needed Help The Most .

Used them twice in the past very professional BUT this time Vinnie hung up on me TWICE trying to talk charges. Most rude and UNprofessional. I am at a loss but maybe Vinnie was having a bad day. Try somebody else and deal with grownups who don't hang up on you like a teenager would.

Found this moving service on Craigslist, we all know how that can turn out sometimes. I read the reviews on here before calling, and was skeptical, because I always wonder if employees of the company write these reviews. Anyway, I'm white, female, and even though there's no research to back it, scared of men in white vans. Haha.. This moving experience was pleasant, The rate they quoted was a good price, and they did not add extra fees. They were very friendly, not creepy, and they moved me extremely quickly. They were on time. Overall, Very good experience, I would recommend them for big and small moves.

I moved with Advantage in May and these guys were terrific. I was pleasantly suprised by the service I received because i have used other companies in the past and have always ran into problems (missing items, hidden charges). The gentleman I spoke to on the phone gave me an accurate price quote and the move ran smoothly without any damages. The movers worked very hard and were careful with my items and there were no hidden charges at the end of the bill. I would recommend them to anyone.

Thought I was in for a good moving experience but I was foolish to think so. These guys were untrustworthy, and did not deliver as promised. I received poor service from the supervisor on the phone when I called to complain. He was extremely unprofessional and beligerent. I would not recommend them at all.

I Spoke to Vinnie The Mover At Advantage Movers and he gave me a quote on my move that was a half hour less than he told me it was going to take and this was during the heat wave we had last week.And i did not pay any nickel & dime charges that i had paid when i use other moving companys i was very happy with my move and will tell other people i know about them.

I Had Advantage Movers move me last week they came on time and did a nice moving job for me nothing of mine was broken when they were done.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I was feeling so stressed out! Packing and moving is really hard when you're pregnant, but they swept in and made the whole thing seem easy. I called Advantage after being referred by a friend. From beginning to end, the gentleman on the phone was upfront about every aspect of the move. I was given an estimate which ended up to be right on the nose. The day of the move went very smoothly and the drivers were very professional. After calling several companies for estimates for our move from Brooklyn to New Jersey, we chose Advantage Movers not only for the good feedback we had read, but also because there was a simple 'pay by the hour' fee schedule that included no extra and/or hidden costs. We were very pleased with our choice. They not only arrived on time - but a little early. All four men were friendly, highly professional efficient and skilled at moving large pieces safely around tight corners. Also, my husband was happy that he and a neighbor were allowed to help, which made the entire move go ever faster, thus making it cheaper. The drivers showed up on time, were polite and extremely careful with all of my items, especially the more delicate ones. They worked very hard through the entire move and were very professional. The movers were absolutely amazing! My office contact Vinnie was always reachable for my questions, was honest about costs (very reasonable), and everything was simple and straightforward, unlike a lot of the movers I had called. They called me the day before to confirm the move, and the movers arrived early. The movers (Adrian, Martin, and Fernando) were extremely professional, fast, and courteous. They were so careful and efficient, even with some large and fragile pieces of furniture. All in all--a great job!!
